I took my grandmother here yesterday to try the food out, and was pretty excited as there arent many breakfast places in town. The place looks cute and has a lot of potential. Right away the waitress was a bit brisk, but I love a good greasy spoon so I can tolerate service being on the rough side. She took our order pretty quickly which was nice, and although it was busy our food came out in about 20-25 minutes. It could have been faster but I dont have outlandish expectations. The food just, wasnt very good. I got the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and standard hashbrowns. Everything was a bit cool when it came out. The gravy was awesome, but everything else was a little bland and dry. The hashbrowns were pretty flavorless; but my grandmother got the homefries and they looked a lot better. After the waitress took our orders, the service wasnt good. I asked for water when she brought our food; she didnt bring it when she refilled my coffee and never even checked back in with us after that. Someone else brought us our check long after we were finished eating. Its honestly worth the extra drive to Snohomish or Sultan for now if you want good breakfast food and good service. Give this place a little more time to establish itself. I should add that I spoke with my grandmother today. Our breakfast was the only meal she ate yesterday and I guess she ended up being very sick all night :( shed commented that her sausage didnt seem fully cooked when we got in the car. I didnt feel well last night either but I didnt attribute it to our breakfast. I dont think well be going back.

We ate here today. There was a bit of a line but we still decided to wait which was no problem. However, after waiting for 20 minutes there were about 3 clear tables and us and the people in front of us waited another 10 minutes before being seated. After being seated our order was taken in about 10 minutes but the real kicker was our food took almost an 30 minutes to get to us. Sitting for that long with two young ones didnt make it that much easier either. The food wasnt to write home about either. The waitstaff seemed frazzled but were friendly.

My soon to be wife and i go in there this morning and ask how long the wait is they say that it will be about 15 minutes so we say ok that sounds great. We will wait. People clear out so we can now wait inside. We go in still waiting. Some one walks in goes up talks to someone at the desk leaves his name and gets a table. They never asked us for our name there was no sign saying please give a name and we will get you a seat.. this was quite rude of the staff. I have no plans on going back to try this local business.

New owners. Cafe has a updated feel to it while staying true to the classic Monroe downtown vibe. Stopped in on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The lady had country fried steak and I went with the pecan Belgium waffle. Service was friendly. Food was tasty. Well be back. Not a lot of breakfast options in Monroe, so was happy to find that this one is firing on all cylinders.

Waited at least 30 minutes after oedering, when arrived potatoes were cold (ordered home fries) they were flavorless no onions or peppers. Biscuits had no flavor either. Sausage patry over cooked. Egg overdone. Asked for over easy. Would not recommend. The one star was for our waitress who was very nice

I cannot stress how good the customer service is here we were greeted with happy and friendly employees. Theyre fruit is all freshly slices and locally picked giving it that hometown vibe, and to go along with it the chef puts his heart into all his dishes. I highly recommend!

Waited 30 minutes after ordering. Then was told they had electrical problems. Waited another 30 minutes, then I left. They dont accept debt/credit either. I think they were better before changing ownership. Too bad for them, too bad for customers.

I ordered over phone and she forgot to put order in so when I got there she was like oops let me do that know. I waited over 20min and still am waiting. Never had service this bad from here. I love this place but not today.

I absolutely love this place, great food and the staff is fabulous! Great job ladys you got yourselves a amazing cafe! If I could give 6 stars I would, I drive 3 hour every month just to go to the MAIN STREET CAFE!

Dining has been extended to the outdoor patio, which is very nice, but service can be a little slow ... which makes this a great cafe to have relaxing conversations or read a good book.

Wonderful stop on our way to Leavenworth. The chicken fried steak was the best Ive had all year. Cozy environment and unique murals on the wall. Great prices for home cooking.

This place is terrible. They need to drug test the staff. One hour wait after seated to get food. Left without food more than a hour wait. Place is filthy.
