The restaurant was very small and claustrophobic-feeling even with only one other person there. The atmosphere was off-putting and stagnant. They did have some neat music choices that were not just "were a stereotypical Chinese restaurant" though. The food had very small variety outside of chicken; there were few noodle choices. The desserts, however, did seem to have plenty of options and had I tried any Im sure would have been satisfying. There were also more American choices for food such as chicken nuggets, fried bananas, and cheese sticks; they didnt taste quite the same as American-made food, but werent bad. Most of the food was just mediocre. Some of the dishes did taste amazing, but not many. That and the small number of selections made it feel very much not all-you-can eat. The worker that was there was nice and worked very hard for being the only person I saw working, which is very impressive. I wouldnt recommend coming here more than for novelty as for two people it cost $21 for an experience that was not worth $21.

Horrible i was embarrassed to have suggested it to out of town family. Old nasty questionable food that had obviously been sitting out for hours. Sushi sitting out with plastic wrap over it. My son refused to even eat there so he didnt even get a plate, yet when we went to leave we were chased down by the girl who proceeded to yell at us for not paying enough and argue with me that my son was in our party so I had to pay for him. Im sorry but didnt realize that we had to pay for the privilege of even entering your restaurant. So I got in the car and left because I am not paying for a meal that never existed. So in addition to the crap we had to force down and being treated like we were stealing. Seriously do not try it Its a health department nightmare and the kids working there were sleeping in the booths and playing on their electronics rather than i dont know making fresh food or treating the customer with respect. I have turned many people away from going here including a Holliday party for my company. DINER BE WEARY.

For what it is, which is a small Chinese buffet in a non ritzy area, they do a great job providing very decent and yummy food at good prices, prepared and served by an extremely friendly and gracious local family. We have eaten at the buffet, taken food to go multiple times , and I have even ordered food from their to go menu once, which was fabulous! I am not sure they still do have the food for order because I havent checked their website in a while, but dont forget this option might be available as well. They have a great food selection for being such a small place, which is likely to satisfy even the most picky eaters like my eldest son. I love the bacon wrapped shrimp (dinner only), their spring rolls are the kind I like, their sushi is decent, and my family always fills up on the dessert selection, from soft serve / topping bar to cakes, pies, sesame balls, and homemade donuts.

This was the most mediocre chinese buffet I have ever experienced, and after reading a ton of good and bad reviews before I went, they all make sense now. The food is tasty enough, all a little different than standard, and unfortunately often left in the trays way too long, leaving it a little cold and soggy. All in all, the food was ok. The way it was served was sub par, as was its freshness. It was fairly inexpensive for a buffet, but I am not positive that I even got what I paid for really. I will not be returning.

Absolutely adorre this local buffet!! SOOOOO many choices....literally something for everyone!! The favorites like General Tsos chicken, to awesome Sushi, Won Ton Soup, a fresh cooked Salmon, generous amounts and variety of Seafood; Oysters, Muscles, Prawns, Crab, and Shrimp!! The bacon wrapped prawns are delicious!! Great customer service, did you know they can DELIVER your order!!?? Our order was via telephone and it was delivered and 110% perfect, and exceeded our expectations!! Thanks yall!!

Golden City Buffet has exceeded our expectations, with their customer service, quality of their cuisine, and over-all experience every time! We called-in multiple, large, complicated orders, later-on in the evening, and not only did they take the time to ensure our order was placed perfectly, but they ALSO delivered it to our home at nearly 9pm! I highly, highly recommend this local restaurant!

Mediocre buffet. Variety is ok for a small place, but make sure to come during peak meal times if you must. Many of the selections had definitely been sitting there far too long. There were a couple items that I have not had at other area buffets. Dim Sum and steamed potstickers, and a tasty scallop/krab veggie mix baked on scallop shells.

Nice staff, white rice, soda and fortune cookie were perfect. But over all, low quality ingredients, and questionable holding and preparation, food looked like it had been out a while so I definately steered clear of the seafood and after finding a piece of cold chicken in a "fresh" dish I was done. And wont go back.

Good food but pretty empty. Some of the food was a little soggy because it had been left out and there werent a lot of customers. Lots of variety in food and great service. The dishes and silverware should be thoroughly cleaned though.

The family that runs the place are wonderful people and the variety of food is endless. I eat there a couple times a month or more. Have been going there for many years and hope it continues to be there for many more.

Not very friendly. The special dish I had was not good. The meat was supposed to be beef, chicken, shrimp, lobster. It all had a funny slimy texture.
