Employees were nice to us (customers) but were in a spat behind bread counter where the public can hear. Also, ice was empty, soda flat, which I called to the employees attention then it was immediately taken care of. The tables were cleared all but one table (one next to us) was left with dirty dishes that were there from when we arrived and when we left they were still there the same ones. The cashier greeted us smiling but did all the talking without listening so we can ask him about a message of a special price that came on our phone. Next time I decide to go back to Sweet Tomatoes & before I do any recommendations to anyone I will go back to the Sunnyvale location on Kiefer. Then I will compare and decide if I will recommend to anyone or even go back myself. The food was well stocked & labeled except for the ice & soda of course & appetitizing & certainly healthy. I will rate my experience a 2 out of 5.

A great place for salad lovers. I really enjoy Sweet Tomatoes - I think youre definitely getting your moneys worth here. I love the salad bar; there are just so many options! You can literally make any kind of salad you want! Their hot food items are also simply delicious. Their focaccia is a must try! Also, dont forget to try their soups :) Lastly, they have really tasty desserts that you just cant resist. Sweet Tomatoes seriously has everything! This location does happen to get immensely crowded, which doesnt surprise me because its a great place for families.

Great all-you-can-eat salad and bakery place. Their salad topping selection is good, and they have a fair number of non-salad items, like breads, soups, and various desserts. Their prices are fair. Eat in or take out. This place gets crowded, but theyll keep you at he cashier until theres a table for your family, so you dont have to worry about standing around with a tray of food and not having a place to sit.

Massive variety of fresh salads & salad ingredients self serve. Soup bar same wide variety with my favorite French Onion. Dining area easily accommodated group of 12 & all expressed delight with the selections, including soft ice cream with chocolate & caramel sauce & sprinkles!! Only one caveat...big temptation to overindulge. Shared parking lot is huge but spots scarce at lunch hour (Thursday).

I know its not Sweet Tomatoes fault, but while in the line this girl was eating corn pieces picking it up with her fingers and putting it on her mouth and parents just let her be... there are other sweet tomatoes that has better people in it, this one is not one of them... with in comes to buffet you need to make sure that people around you have good dining manners.

I love coming here when Im starving since its all you can eat and I can pretty much live off of salad. Its format is almost exactly like Fresh Choices before it closed down. Their premade salads are wonderful, and there are a lot of vegetarian options (fewer vegan options) though I wish they had more than 1 vegetarian soup option regularly available.

Oh god this places suck. It amuses me that theres quotes about being healthy splattered on the walls, given that everything is splattered in sugar. Also the only meat youre getting is tiny bacon bits & sad pieces of chicken floating in murky water identified as chicken soup. You can really tell theyre trying to be as cheap as possible.

This is a soup and salad place with many branches around Bay Area. Its also one of my favourite places to eat here. The choices to prepare your salad are plentiful and ingredient fresh. Some of the soups also really tasty, and the dessert in the end worth breaking any resolve to eat healthy. Definitely recommended!

This place has a great variety of good healthy food. Its a salad bar... So be prepared to construct your own with a great selection of ingredients. Follow it up with a great selection of soups and fresh made breads... And if you have room left...top everything off with dessert... Ive never been disappointed.

Its a typical sweet tomatoes location albeit less crowded than the other ones I have visited in the past. You get the usual fare: soups, salads, breads and desserts. All unlimited till you cant get out of your seat anymore..Wish they had more options in Vegan/Vegetarian soups.

Food is great always and buffet clean and stocked. However, minus one star because everytime I go there, they let you load your tray...pay...then nowhere to sit. I can barely walk with bad knees and back. Not cool standing there with a tray and no table.

Typical Sweet Tomatoes fare: variety of salads, soups, and assorted baked goods like muffins, pizza, etc. This is a much smaller place than most Sweet Tomatoes Ive visited, but the food, quality, and service are about the same as elsewhere.

My kids alway request this. The food is ok but they are a bit understaffed and things pile up. ----- Were here again with the family at 3pm but every other table is empty and piled high with dirty dishes.

wow quality was through the roof. there was giant breast chunks in the chicken soup, giant beef chunks in the chili, no skimping whatsoever on the clams in the clam chowder. everything was incredibly good.

We hit Sweet Tomatoes regularly and it never fails to fill us up for a very reasonable price. Only problem is, we always eat too much! Dont miss the blueberry muffins from the desert tray. best ever!

I was expecting Sizzler-quality buffet, which is not a very tall order. This place was more like a sad marching band mess hall. Also, a lot of their offerings inexplicably have red meat in them.

We preferred Fresh Choice but now that the last Fresh Choice has closed, we are now rediscovering sweet tomatoes. Selection is good and items seem to be fresh. Good selection of soups.

Sweet Tomatoes is always a good place to get your fill of salads, soups and breads. This location is pretty nice. My biggest complaint was they had only one vegetarian soup option.
