If I could give this business zero stars I would. The food was lousy, cold, hard, old and soggy. My child didnt enjoy it and neither did I. So, the next step was to complain about the plates of food we werent eating out of disgust, only to be told the hostess had to call the manager who was not on the property. There was no management on the property, and she only offered a 10% discount even though we werent consuming the food. So, I waited 20-25 minutes for the "manager" to show up on the property and she continued to tell me I had been there for an hour and I had to pay for the food even though I didnt like it. She tried to make it seem like I had been eating, when in reality they were taking away full plates of food from my table. So, I told her I would pay for the food my child ate.. Not the food that was being thrown out due to not being consumed. She wouldnt budge and I wasnt going to allow a business to treat me so poorly, so the police were called. This is a business that serves poor quality food that is not kept up to county standards, and than they want to force you to pay for food that you think is disgusting. Dont waste your time or your money. I am offended and disgusted that a business can and does operate in this manner. I will be taking this to the better business bureau and all other sites related to food and ratings. My 7 years managing restaurants and my business degree has taught me what is acceptable and what is not acceptable, and this was the most unacceptable situation I have dealt with. Also, what a waste of city resources for a business to be so petty.

My daughter wanted sushi for her 25 birthday dinner. The rest of us arent big sushi fans. So, I went to Google to find a place for all of us. Found a few interesting choices, but it was their free on your birthday deal that won me over. It was simple to get. Just show ID. Im not a huge Chinese food fan. Theres one thing I like even less, buffets. But, hey its not my birthday. With that in mind, this place won me over. Hands down the best and cleanest buffet I have ever been to. I started off with some sushi and soup. Im still not a sushi fan. Loved the hot and sour soup though. Had great cocktail shrimp. I moved on to the Chinese line from there. Everything was hot and tasty. Super fresh. Loved the broccoli beef. The highlight for me wasnt the chocolate fondue like I expected it to be. The ice cream could use some work. The vanilla was runny and the chocolate icy. My favorite part was the Mongolian grill. The selections are kind of limited. But they do have steaks and raw eggs which I found unique. I went with shrimp, udon and mushrooms. The part I loved was the sauce used. I picked Mongolian. The best sauce I have ever had! This is probably the longest review Ive ever written. And Ive left tons out. In short, I loved the place and would love to return soon... like next week. Thanks for reading.

The restaurant wasnt particularly good or bad, but rather very plain - especially compared to other Chinese buffets. The food was okay, but not much choice, again compared to other Chinese buffet restaurants - limited choice and bland taste. It wasnt particularly clean either - by the chocolate fountain there were pieces of eaten strawberries, seems like people eat them right there leaving pieces behind. What completely threw me off was that first I saw the sushi cook actively picking his teeth with his fingers and then continuing to make sushi! (he wasnt using gloves) And then, the same cook spat on the floor behind the sushi bar - that was plain gross!! After that I imagined the sanitary conditions in this restaurant and stormed out of it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant. PS also, there were not many vegetarian/vegan dishes and very limited desserts.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, and would frequently come here. The price is good, the food is tasty, and the service is adequate. However, the last time that I went with my girlfriend, they brought out chicken that was in many places completely raw. Not just a tiny bit pink on the inside - I mean that large parts of the chicken were totally raw. This was discovered after she loaded up a plate with food and began to eat, almost putting the raw chicken in her mouth when she noticed how raw it was. The reaction of the employees when I presented them with the raw chicken was not adequate. It took them some time to remove the offending dish from the buffet, and it seems very likely that other people took the dangerous food back to their table. They did not even apologize. Go here at your own risk - clearly the food handling and cooking standards are poor.

As normal. most buffet reviewers give crappy reviews. Not me and not this place! Mainly cause I dont put the bulk of my entres on the plate then top em with the deserts and sauces, like so many I see at ALL buffets and then give crap reviews. Being a chef trained in Hawaii and know the issues in serving quantity food with quality Chinese, I am and will remain a thumbs up viewer for this place. It went to new owners a while ago and since its been a treat and if its service, well we almost had to push em back for peace and the food. So if you see a dried looking item on a buffet--DONT put it on your plate...itll be dry and yuck. Ya cant win em all but, this place wins more than their fair share and I highly recommend it! I mean if ya cant find what yer lookin for in over 75 choices then go back to Mickey Ds.....Peace!

...meaning, if youre looking for a Chinese Buffet, thats what youre going to get. If anything else, not going to happen. This place is geared towards large parties and families, so dont expect quiet or a cozy atmosphere - let alone personal service. The good news is, thats the only thing negative I have to say. The food was outstanding, and there are so many choices that theres bound to be a bunch of things youll like. They have a huge clam-bin that is full of hot clams and a cheese-baked-muscle dish that is awesome - aside from your standard chickens, rice, chow mein, sushi, etc, etc. I must have tried 15 different things and like almost all of them...which is rare. Summary: Outstanding food. Service, location and price ($8.99 for lunch) are all areas of improvement.

I just visited this restaurant on Thursday night and that was my second visiting. My last visiting was in 2013 summer. I dont know why some people gave so low point to the restaurant. Based on my visiting, I am pretty happy with this restaurant both food and service, especially their food. According to our friends who lived in Seattle three years, this is one of the best Chinese buffet restaurant in Redmond area. We (four adults and four kids) are very happy with the dinner. I live in Vancouver Canada and I do not know any buffet restaurant in Vancouver is as good as this Mandarin Buffet & Grill. So I will definitely visit this restaurant again in my next trip to Seattle.

Third time here. This place is definitely a go. For $20.99, it is an AYCE buffet with seafood. The seafood is probably one of the worst qualities I have had. For example, their oyster has rocks and sand in it, and their fish / sashimi is not the freshest. What you get in return is a very nice selection of Chinese food. They have dim sum, fried rice, chow mein, mussels, scallop, braised pigs feet (one of my favorite things to have, really) and even Mongolian grill with skewers. The Mongolian grill section is extremely busy, even on quiet weeknights, so you might want to reserve some time for that. Their dessert section is huge and has plenty to offer.
