I went to the Namaste Indian buffet on Weidler st. last week and it far exceeded my expectations. It seems like the food and variety is getting way better, the last time I was at this location was a year and a half ago, and it was okay, but last week.... Woah. It blew me away. It was some of the best Indian food I have ever had with a wide variety. The only downside is the layout is a little disorganized with the location on the register and food layout, but thats really not an issue at all when the food is rockin! And their mango ice cream is the best I have ever had. Mango desserts are common but they usually taste like they are processed. This might be too for all I know, but the flavors are complex, the colors are rich. Its the real deal. I am definitely going back.

good indian food and for the price you cant go wrong, me my mom and sister went here after the lloyd center mall to try out some good food, and it was great, it Had real indian taste and was one of the best places around, the food ranch and dessert were all pretty good, and of course lets not forget the great staff that were there to take our order, the whole place is great and enjoyed the food a lot, i will say its one of the best places ever and if your in the mood for some great food and dessert then this place is it, will Go back here again! So good and really better then burger king or jack in the box!

Well, I was kinda surprised by the number of options, because it is not a large space. Everything was very good. Well worth the $10 lunch buffet price. All the usual selections, done very well. Staff was attentive. Large exterior sidewalk windows on a sunny day made it bright, as people walked by looking in. Right across Weidler from Lloyds Center, so you can waddle it off after. My only negative would be small single occupancy restroom, which I am really only guessing at, because somebody was camped out inside. Another plus the mall is just across the street, so plan ahead.

This was my first time eating Indian food and I was very satisfied! The spread seemed small, but was a ton of food as I tried to sample as much as I could. They had everything marked and had multiple choices for vegan and gluten free. Overall, Id go back and dine in (I took mine to go) so that I could taste more things, including the dessert, which I didnt get to try. They offer coconut and/or mango flavored frozen yogurt I believe.

This place is just ok as far as taste comparison to other indian i have had. But its really inexpensive buffet - $11 lunch $14 dinner. It has more options than any other indian buffet I have ever had, plus covers all the basics other placed skip or charge extra for- samosa, pakora, naan, rice pudding, soup. Probably wouldnt go out of my way to eat here again but its good indian on a budget in a pinch

This place was amazing! Ive never had an Indian buffet, and this was spot on. I loved being able to taste all the vegetables and seasoning at the same time. Vegans; they specify what is and is not vegan. Its wonderful. They even have a salad bar. The staff was so kind, I loved being able to chat with one of the girls after my meal. Definitely going back for lunch before I head back to Florida. 5

Mediocre. I have eaten at many indian buffets and this was probably the worst. All of the dishes tasted the same and everything stale. It is a buffet, so food will sit out, but it tasted like lunch leftovers at dinner time. The place is generally pretty dirty. Over-priced for quality. Two stars for service - guy bussed the tables quickly. Skip this place.

This is a cheap Indian buffet in the neighborhood and I eat here pretty frequently. Is it my favorite buffet ever? No. But its good. Its exactly what you want when youre hankering for an Indian food buffet. Its consistent. The staff is friendly. Its convenient. And its a pretty great place to get delivery from when you just cannot go out.

Delicious all-you-can-eat Indian buffet, the kind which is strangely missing around Portland, compared to some other west coast cities. Notable are some of the special items like the fried potatoes and chicken, and flavored naans, goat dishes, and house-made soft-serve mango ice cream. Many options are halal as well.

Surprisingly delicious! Usually buffets are not my style, they are usually not good but this place is delicious!!! The food is so fresh and refilled often. The salad bar is fresh and crunchy. The chicken was so flavorful! Indian food is my weakness and my mouth waters thinking about this place! Also very affordable!

First time trying Indian food, I love that it was buffet style so I could see what I like. I tried a little of everything and every dish was so good. I love the spices they use. I didnt try the mango and coconut ice cream or the cake. The tables were bussed fast and were clean. Definately reccomend and will return

The buffet style lunch was only average. There were good choices of veg, chicken and goat. I found that the amount of spices was aimed at an American palate, hence more bland than I like. The ice cream for dessert (mango or coconut soft serve) was a good way to end the meal.

This is much like the location on 82nd & Sandy with fewer options and less intimate seating. Housed in what used to be a Panda Express, you go for good buffet Indian food. Not a great place for a date but a fantastic pave for a quick delicious meal.

Delicious buffet-style Indian dining with meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Dessert included (mango soft serve, rice pudding, and semolina cake). You can get whole catering trays of all your favorites to go, too! Price is very reasonable.

Resonable price. Very bad customer service. When we went there all the stafds was sitting at the table and chatting and eating. I even had to wait to pay. This was during slow hour where there were only few customer. Disappointed.

The food was cold and tasteless. Its a sham in the name of Indian food. Not worth its price at all. Bad start to our Portland tour. I was forced to give 1 star so that I could write this comment. Disgusting!!!!!!

Good variety of dishes in the buffet. Lunch is $11 and $13 for dinner. However, the dishes lack spice. Level of spiciness was not even mild. Also, for those who follow Halal diet, this place serves Halal meat.

A few vegan options (mostly labeled as such). They dont use coconut milk in anything, even the rice pudding, so many otherwise vegan dishes are not. It was filling, but overall disappointing.
