HORRIBLE service....went there a few weeks ago during the day on a sat. we were the only 2 people in there besides the 4 staff members who were sitting in the corner watching tv. waiter took 10 min to even get around to giving us water and menus. Took another 20 minutes for him to take our order. food was OKAY, nothing special kind of bland. Didnt check on us once during our mean or refill our drinks. When we were done I had to go hunt down the waiter to get our check. I left them a note on the check letting them know about the horrible service. Especially with there having been so many people in there I was shocked at the lack of attention. Will NOT be retuning to this restaurant and wont recommend it to anyone....

Place is VERY sketchy. Food quality is poor with blend taste. Staff took rest of our cake home when a personal event was hosted without knowledge to us and staff that stays to close for events asks for cash tips. Owner was responsible to pay employee for hours they stayed but we ended up paying him cash personally. They also dont bring enough food out on time for Buffett style and limited meat is in a pool full of extra oily curry. Other experience includes multiple staff lounging around with no urgency for customer service. Even when not busy, they gather in the corner and watch TV. Was my last experience there as it should Be yours.

The best Indian (Punjabi style) food in Kent.. even best in Seattle, Renton area we had so far. I just visited for dinner buffet and got a to go box filled with vegetarian sides.. all are awesome. Veg korma, palak paneer, mix veg, daal makhni... all amazing flavored with appropriate spices (not just hot spiced). All sides (dishes) are medium spiced which kids can also have. Naan (breads) are soft, hand made fresh and not frozen as other restaurants serve. The owner is very generous and really cares for customers. 5 stars without any delay. Just finished and I wanna rate before I loose the taste!!

Looking at the reviews of 4.0 i went there for a saturday lunch buffet. When we entered the restaurant there were no customers at all. That itself gave me an indication that the ratings were bogus. The buffet itself does not have a lot many items but shockingly all the chicken items were stale and had weird smell in them. Even the rice items were stale and hard. The spoons looked old and dirty. Ambience was average. Some of the good items were the pakoras and fruit salad. The buffet costs you 9$. Avoid this place and save yourself

I enjoy their buffet everytime I am in the area. Unlike other Indian restaurants, the food here is closer to authentic Punjabi home cooking and not fattened up with butter and cream to make it taste good. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian items are equally delicious. Have to say this - Love that chair in the bathroom lol. Staff is attentive, consistently courteous and friendly. I go there perhaps once every two months, yet I feel like they know me every time I visit.

Ive eaten here several times with my wife and other occasions with my mother. We have always enjoyed the food and Ive never had issues with their service or anything else. In fact I had a nice conversion with one of the staff during my last visit some time ago. One delicious menu item Ive not found replicated anywhere else is the ground lamb samosa. I highly recommend it if you like seasoned lamb.

Because if you look or review all or some of the reviews you can tell all of the negative comments or reviews are their own people and people just hate and the hater always hate, this place is good and the food quality is always to the point.

Went there for the 1st time couple of weeks ago. Decor was nice inside, food was good, but small portions and they were in a hurry to close, actually asked us to leave and were right behind us on the way out the door. Weve definitely been to better places in the area, especially India Mahal in Tacoma. That I would recommend much more than this place.

I live in Puyallup and had lunch at Sumay "Fine" Cuisine because it had high reviews, but Sumay had the worst food ever. I then came to kent with my wife and ate a lunch buffet here at Golden which was $9 per person, the food was unbelievable, and so flavorful; this place has real INDIAN food people!

I went there on Friday Buffet dinner and It was a worst dinner experience I ever had in Seattle area. I tried Paneer, Saag, Makhani, Chole, Fish, Goat, Gulab Jamun, Rice pudding, Custard all taste very bad. Google should provide option for zero stars.
