I love fly-in restaurants. Ive been known to fly 300 miles just for some good barbecue (ok, the cross country time was nice too). The HUB saves me from having to venture too far to get a darn good pizza, though. Situated right under the control tower and adjacent to the ramp, the front opens on car parking, the rear deck opens to aircraft parking. If you love pizza and planes, this is the place to come. I brought my 13 year old nephew in one Sunday afternoon and he loved it. We sat on the deck and chatted with a couple from Bellingham that stopped in for a bite while returning from Oregon in their Bonanza. If youve got a designated pilot/driver, be sure to take in their incredible brews too. This is a very family friendly establishment, with great surroundings, terrific food, and some of the best wait staff around. Your doing yourself a disservice if you pass up the HUB.

Ive been a server for over ten years. Its in my norm to make excuses for bad service but this time I wont bite my tongue. We got to the restaurant around 11. Told her we were having breakfast and would be here working on a paper. She checked on us maybe every half hour. In my mind if you know your guests are going to be here a while and keep ordering you would want to check on them more frequently. Not only that she handed us our check more than three times trying to rush us out it felt like. Considering we were here for five hours which I know shifts end then it would be the appropriate time to hand us our check. Our bill was 70$ couldve most likely been well over 100$ if she wouldve checked in more. Thankfully after she cashed us out another server did a much better job. This was my first time at the gig hub. I normally go to the Tacoma. At this rate I will go back to there.

decent food, way-too-long service. ordered a rueben and brat along with 2 glasses of beer. got the beers which were good in under 10 minutes ... after 40 - 45 minutes waiter checked on us and asked if wed like a complimentary soup since wed waited so long. soup was good ... another 25 minutes before we got our order. another server/supervisor finally came by to apologize for the delay and offered to comp our meal which we gratefully accepted. question: why overbook your restaurant only to give the food away? bad business model ...

Absolutely do not order the blackened chicken pasta unless you want your face melted off. I ordered it with non blackened chicken thinking that was the spice. Told waitress I was sharing with my daughter (8yrs old) and would have expected her to say how spicy is regardless of how the chicken was ordered. Bottom line, anyone who eats that should win a t-shirt or something. They comped the meal that we couldnt eat. Usually this restaurant is good. Need some clarity on the menu item.

We had a rehearsal dinner on Thursday, June 13th. The outdoor patio was perfect. Planes landing and taking off, the sun was shining and the food and staff were perfect. I cant thank them enough for everything they did for us. It made a perfect start for a perfect wedding. Thank you for the delicious food, wonderful service and enjoyable evening. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to enjoy their evening without worrying about a thing.

We keep our aircraft at Narrow Airport and love having a restaurant on the field. Since we moved there 15 year ago there have been 3 dinners before the Hub and much of that time with no restaurant. When I found out Pat and Carol committed to take this on I thought they were crazy, everyone before them had failed. You can say what you want about the food the service but in the harbor this place is providing the community a great service. Thank you!

I like going to The Hub for trivia on Friday nights. The food and desserts are good, especially the brownie sundae. But the service is TERRIBLE. I usually have to wait 10-30 minutes before anyone even comes to take an order. Ive even had to wait around 25 minutes for water before. Really, the only reason I continue to go is the great atmosphere and location. But servers, please get your act together.

I love The Hub in Tacoma but the one in Gig Harbor is really bad. The building itself looks old/tired and run down compared to the Tacoma location. The appetizer came out only a couple minutes before the pizzas. Both pizzas were missing toppings. And they forgot one of our parties drink. They forgot to give us plates. Service was slow even though we were one of two customer groups.

Our family had breakfast there on Sat. the 18th. I heard the table behind us complaining about their breakfast and said; I hope that isnt what we get. But we did. Sloppy presentation and a greasy taste too boot. No more dining at this greasy spoon for us. Jim Groves Gig Harbor

Food is mediocre at best. Kraft macaroni and cheese for the kids . $27 rib eye is of $14 diner quality. Servers are nice. Wont accept gift cards from The Hub Tacoma- but I do intend to re-gift that card to the seediest person I can find, as my thanks to both locations

Great menu selection, and a neat location. Im not the biggest fan of thin crust pizza, but their options are pretty good! The service is always pretty good as well, the past few times we have been there the manager has come by making sure all is well.

Th food is ok, the service is beyond awful. Been there three times and each time its worse. We were the only table in the restaurant and had our dirty plates sit in front of us 10-15 minutes. No refills on drinks and had to ask twice for the check

We went there to get pictures with a Santa and that went alright. After our pictures, we were seated at a table and attempted to get food, very but their staff couldnt seem to figure out that we wanted to order, so we got up and left.

Nice little stop right next to a small airport. Reminds me of Wings :) Friendly staff, great service, awesome Boss Burger. Caesar salad leaves a bit to be desired though. Ample parking, in/outdoor seating, great for groups, kids.

Ive only attended community events here, but the staff and quality have been delightful! I definitely plan on stopping in on non official or catered business so I can get the full experience!

Good food, good service, and a decent place to bring the kids. They do live music which is fun, although it can get loud since it is a small restaurant.

The atmosphere was comfortable, the food was great (steak sandwich and steak fries), the beer was okay, and the service was quick and friendly.

Great local brews and good selection of different pizzas, which are delicious. The view of the Tacoma Narrows airport is awesome as well!
