The food was delicious, great flavors. Our steak and lamb was cooked near to perfection. However, for the price, a few things were lacking. The soup was serving scolding hot, the waiter was unable to describe the menu (he said dessert was like crème brulee "without the top" thinking we would get some kind of pudding or flan but out came a chocolate mouse) and the ambiance was just a little wanting. To reiterate the food was great and Im just being picky but compared to other restaurants in the price range, I was underwhelmed

Very excited to have a new restaurant near my office in Steilacoom. What is unexpected and special, is the quality and creativity in the food preparation. Rarely do you go to a restaurant anymore where the food is "art" and you know you dont have the skills to do this at home yourself. The food is artistic, moderately pricey, incredibly tastey and unique. Keep it up, and best of luck to your future in Steilacoom!

A tremendous meal! Best meal in a long time. They did a great job on the renovation. It was oddly sectioned off before.Every flavor in the lanb meatloaf played perfectly off of each other. Pork belly lettuce wraps were a revelation! Half price off of wine bottle from France was a good deal. Real taste without a lot of hype of pricier places in Tacoma. Would highly recommend De La Terre!

De la Terre is a little gem somewhat hidden in Steilecoom. I want them to be successful, but I selfishly dont want it to get so popular that its impossible to get a seat. The service is friendly and quick. The drinks are delicious and the food is fantastic and fresh!! The flavors shine through and everything was cooked perfectly.

Amazing every time!!!!! Love the food! Cant get this anywhere else. Never disappointed. We have been here at least five times and the menu is always different. Love that chef does seasonal/local menu items. Must try!!!!!!!!!!
