this place just sucks...pleasant sunday...sitting out back, first we are told, "if you want service, youll have to move closer, we cant be running all over the lot". ok, we move, no big deal...10 feet. eventually, miss pouty face says " were out of almost everything, but we have ribs, no salad. ok, get fries instead. there are two of us. eventually, 2 beers arrive...then 1 order of ribs, from the cook arrive. I ask for the other order, he says " I was only told one, but ill get the second. 10 minutes later, miss pouty face brings a beer. "hows the fries coming?" "oh, theres many orders ahead of you" zero people inside, maybe 15 outside. 2nd rib order arrives, 15 minutes later, 2nd order of fries. not 1 word of apology. then some local people arrive. instant beers, and magically, theres brisket and salads available, smoking in the dining area. it just got worse. this used to be a good spot, id go 3 times a summer, $50 or so a whack. even inside on previous visits, lousy service, less than average food. never again, I swear to you, never again

If I could give zero stars, I would. The waitress with long brownish hair was absolutely horrible. She was rude and very short with us. The waitress told us the kitchen was closing in 15 and fried food would be the only thing available, which we didnt know walking in because we are from out of town and it was a Saturday at 8pm. We ordered beers and food and even ordered mostly fried food and asked if it was okay to order chicken on the nachos just so were not making it more difficult. She continued to be extremely rude and walked away. We were sitting right next to the kitchen and as she walked in we could hear the cooks and her talking about our order very rudely. We just got up paid for our beers and left. I can see that its annoying when people come in at close but we didnt know they were closing soon. The bartender that closed our tab was even super rude and not even making eye contact with us. It was just a super unfortunate experience and we will not be going back there ever again.

The worst service Ive ever had at a restaurant. My wife and I stood near the entrance for ten minutes before i went and found someone and asked if we could seat ourselves. We waited twenty minutes for the waitress to ask what drinks we wanted, and thirty minutes after that they still hadnt come. Ive worked as a waiter before, and understand that things get busy, but I could see my waitress chatting with people like she had all the time in the world. She walked from table to table with no sense of urgency. I can wait a long time if I know that the person is trying their hardest, but she was acting like it was a slow Sunday morning. After forty minutes with no drinks I went to ask her and she apologized and said she would bring them out. She didnt. Ten minutes later we left. Im disappointed, because the food looked great. We ended up at McDonalds.

Stopped for lunch, remembering that the service was not fast. This time it was horrible. It took almost 20 minutes to order. When the food finally came 40 minutes later, they had messed up the orders and had put on things that were requested to be left off, and forgot my 13 year old sons burger. The waiter said it would be there in three minutes, but 15 minutes later, after the rest of us had finished, I had to flag him down again, to ask about the burger. It came out about 5 minutes later and was covered in onions and mushrooms, which he had asked to be left off. Everyone agreed that their food was mediocre. Bad service and bad food. Not a great combination.

I go target practicing with friends several times a year. Its about 2 miles away from this tavern (Forrest RD 70). My friends truck got stuck and none of us had service. I hitched a ride to Naches Tavern, called for a tow truck and spend the next hour and a half waiting. I had their soup, it was really good. Their beer was excellent and they had a pretty good selection of drinks to choose from. They have 2 pool tables and a few video arcade machines. This tavern has this cozy cabin-like atmosphere to it and friendly people. This is a great place to visit when youre done playing in the snow and need a place to warm up, have a beer and relax.

Awful ! Came here 2 or 3 years ago and had some really good nachos. On new years day, 3 of us came here for the nachos again. Omg, they should have paid us for attempting to eat what they served us. We were given a large plate of stale corn chips with a sprinkle ( and I mean a sprinkle ) of onion, tomato and a dusting of cheese. The beef, which also amounted to a sprinkle, was an additional $ 2.50 and the guacamole $ 1.50. With 3 beers the bill was $ 31.50 plus tip. Theyre lucky my wife paid the bill because you wouldnt have got anything from me. In all, a terrible experience and wont be going back anytime soon !

Just okay...arrived with hike group and we sat in the lovely garden out back. Beer arrived quickly and was plentiful. However, even the simplest order off the menu took forever. Over 30 minutes to get a small serving of onion rings is ...poor service. The place wasnt THAT busy at 3 pm even on Saturday. But, didnt know whole story inside could have been short on servers. Veggie burgers looked fine but heard no compliments from those in the group eating them. Its the only place around there so possibly they take advantage of that by not bothering on quality of service or food.

Worse over priced place we have ever eaten at Got a burger smaller than a burger king dollar menu and didnt come with fries Onions, shroms, fries Everything extra Hubby had French dip and I didnt know they made a bun that small The au jus bowl hid the sandwich and IT didnt come with fries Had two beers and bill was almost 50$ If I am gonna pay ten dollars for a burger and over 12 for French dip better come with fries AND the order of fries we did buy xtra wasnt even enough for ONE person What a joke and service sucked

Super awkward. The one waitress on shift was not great. She took half of our groups order for drinks and when one person hesitated she ran off and took quite a while to come back. I got the feeling that she didnt want us there at all. There were lots of people there which surprised us. The food was just ok... But expensive! Not worth stopping unless you have lots of time to kill and are just looking to have a drink.

Felt like I was in a bad pothead movie where the employees joke with friends at the bar about how messed up on mushrooms they got the night before and how they were pretty sure their friend got roofied and how funny it was. Food was pretty gross and they said not to sit on the couch for reasons they didnt specify (the flies were a good clue). Descent spot for a beer but a change in staff would go a long way.
