Remarkably good food. Compared to other Mexican restaurants, Ixtapa is markedly better. Especially nice that this goodness is right in the center of the small town of Duvall. Recently redecorated. So the 15+ year-old chairs and tables have been upgraded to much nicer gear. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up 20%-30% at about the same time. So its not as inexpensive as it used to be ( -1 star for the sizable price increase). But still a great place to sit, relax or host a group gathering.

Ixtapa has the best food in duvall, and by extension, the whole valley area. My parents moved to duvall 30 years ago and the first place they went was this wonderful family establishment. Weve been coming here almost once a week ever since (sometimes twice a week). Easily five stars. Would always recommend!

The food is very good, typical Mexican. It is served quickly. The service is hit or miss, the last one was a miss, but is typically responsive. It can be extremely loud when they have large parties seated in between the booths. We dont enjoy our dinner when it is that loud.

This place is amazing. I can see why its difficult finding southwest food in the PNW but this restaurant nails it. Their take on Mexican food is absolutely worth having, and being from Arizona I think Ive got a good idea. Great food and service. Worth the visit.

If youre looking for some of the best Mexican food around, stop looking. This particular Ixtapa is very friendly and accommodating. I enjoy every meal I have here, and they always serve it with a smile. I dont know if Ive ever had a better tortilla soup. 11/10

Going there since they opened Food is always served hot and flavorful. Service is fast even on a busy night. Our out of town guests request this restaurant when visiting. Other Ixtapa Restaurants but Duvall Ixtapa is the Best!

One of the greatest places for service, atmosphere, chips, salsa, coke and tortilla soup. My husband and I frequent this Ixtapa location too much! We love this place. Dont be fooled, not every Ixtapa has the same tortilla soup!

I wasnt too impressed with the food here and the service was also mediocre. We love the Ixtapa in Carnation once town away. Id recommend driving the extra ten minutes to the Carnation location.
