Ive been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. I first started frequenting El Tapatio when I lived a few blocks away, having just graduated from college and working in the area. Ive since returned to eat there once a month. The food is awesome and the staff is even better than the food. Theyre great people. Of course, the food at a restaurant has to be good or else I wouldnt return. But it is the friendly, courteous, professional staff that makes all the difference. I highly recommend El Tapatio. Its one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area.

Best taco Tuesday ever. Tacos are $1.50 each. I am full on just 2 (also comes with chips and salsa). 4 choices of meats and all delicious. Our favorites are the chicken and pork. Great for families. Its a large restaurant with a separate bar so good for date night too. Didnt love the Margaritas--very pricey and clearly made with a bottled mix. Either charge for a low grade drink or justify the high price by using fresh limes.

Great neighborhood taqueria that I recommend you try! Ive had the burrito and the tacos and I loved them! Glad this place is here. I think the owner is from Cali so he knows what a proper taco should taste like and hes making that happen right here in Bed Stuy! Support this restaurant!

After they reopened a few years back they experienced a rough patch but now have their footing again in my opinion. Service is always friendly and prompt and the food is consistently decent quality. Nothing to write home about, but always a go-to spot if youre craving Mexican food.

I love this place! Ive been coming here since I moved to concord. I love the food! Some staff (some not all) could be nicer and attentive. Thats why they arent getting 5 starts. Otherwise is a cool place to go get your eat on and drinks!
