Suuuuper suuuuper good and unique! The molcajetes were big enough for 2 or maybe more people depending on your appetite. Definitely get one of those - Amazeballs! The other food was pretty good, but not as good as the molcajete. Great for a date or to bring friends to something fun. Not very expensive when you consider the size of the molcajete! YUMMERS!!

Just make sure you acknowledge guests when they walk in. Two women and myself walked up unnoticed and not greeted for take out but then a male walked up and was acknowledged right away! Not a big deal since they were slammed but still Im a waitress and I noticed that instantly. Just say hi well be right with you! It goes such a long way with hungry guests

Delicious Jalisco-style food at a good price. A basket of fresh, warm, crisp tortilla chips and a bowl of fresh salsa arrived at our table as soon as we sat down. One of us got a big bowl of seafood soup, the other chicken in pipián, a sauce made from pumpkin seeds. Both were delicious. The service was excellent. Definitely a place to come back to.

Family owned for two generations, great hard working people with serve you with their heart. The food is really good, and be prepare for their serving size is more than you can bargain for. My favorite plate is their fish. I usually call in advance 10 min so when I arrived and my fish is served it feels like royal treatment. J

Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Castro Valley, and probably the best restaurant in CV period (I know thats not setting the bar very high). My steak fajitas were sizzling hot, well seasoned and grilled onions were crisp and sweet. My wifes seafood Molcajete was delicious and spicy.

The food was not good at all. I ordered camarones al la diabla, WHEN I got MY plate the rice n beans were cold and the beans tasted blan like straight out the can. I only got like six shrimp for $18 that was ridiculous and the sauce it came in was nasty

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very friendly. We go often. Our favorites include the spicy soup, Molcajetes, shrimp tacos, pastor tacos and super famoso burrito covered in verde sauce.

Good service, decent food, great salsas and Aguas Frescas. I had a burrito slathered with green salsa, it was nothing out of the ordinary. I would try somewhere else personally.
