We were a group of 4 adults and 2 babies... It was a Saturday morning and had a good amount of wait time. But we got a cozy corner area and got settled well. Since it was a busy morning no one came to our table for quite a while. But once they came, they were very attentive. Our server was sharp and took all our orders on memory, provided suggestions and repeated them well for confirmation. Items didnt take much time to come. We ordered eggs Benedict, full orders of chocolate, banana and Swedish pancakes amongst other sides and drinks.. though the full order of 6 plus 6 medium sized chocolate and banana pancakes seemed like a lot to finish, they were light and yummy tasting. Hash brown was the only item that wasnt finished at our table. They had refills of hot chocolate and not orange juice. Overall we had a great time with 2 babies. Servers were polite and attentive to our needs. The ambience is very much welcoming and to see families of all sizes and ages was pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and time here. Will definitely return soon.

I am really disappointed after our visit here. This was our first time at this location, we normally go to Ballard and Kirkland. I highly recommend those locations. (Kirkland just moved to Redmond so we havent tried it yet). The service was slow and we had to ask to order after almost 15 minutes this was before we were even asked about drinks. The food did not taste bad but the portions were much smaller. The portions are a drawback because typically its a great value. We always recommend OPH to everyone but I would not recommend this location. It is okay but does not live up to the great food and service that we are used to. Ive noticed reviews are pretty low or high lately so maybe theres a transition or short staffed.

Food and service pretty quick and friendly. Only complaint honestly is pretty much with every restaurant at this caliber. They dont cook there hash browns... one side is literally barely tarnish brown opposite side is always white... why why wont they atl east flip without being ask. I always feel li kn e an ass if I ask them to have cook flip the hash browns or do anything different then there normal routine. The movie clip replays in. You head anytime I say anything **we got a complainer** come on we all know the movie clips . Lol. This didnt happen here. Li m e Id said good service food go I dont min u ever hash rows undercooked. Overall 4 to 4 1/2thumbs up for overall presentation.

Tasty fare, albeit more expensive than most breakfast places. $13.50 for an omelet ($16 if you cant do yolks). Their apple pancakes are definitely a speciality and better than any pancakes anywhere else, hands down. The service was great (kept the coffee cups full, got us what we needed, etc.). Weve been here several times over the years and the above is consistent. OPH Bothell is one of our Go To breakfast spots in the Bothell area (supplanting Maltby Cafe after a cleanliness issue). Recently we had a frustrating issue regarding payment of our tip however the Original Pancake Houses management was able to resolve the issue promptly. Well done!

Awkward server and the meal we had was down right gross. The bacon was somehow burnt and soggy (how?!) Also costs $5.50 for 4 pieces. Nothing comes with sides so what seems like a moderately priced dish was actually just 1 waffle nothing else. The crepes my friend had were absolutely awful; fake strawberry "preserves" with an overpowering orange flavoured fake syrup. Ordered a side of home fries received hash browns asked about it and the server told us those where home fries, we saw another table get served actual home fries.

Friendly staff. Food is better than other pancake places or diners that serve breakfast. Its our "Go To" family place for breakfasts. Ive also gone a few times for my employers staff Christmas breakfast. They are alway nice, never pushy, never mess up our orders (not even with 11+ people). Price is good. If I had to come up with a bad thing, Id say that I wish their tables were larger. I feel squished and crowded but not enough to keep me away! Try this place!

French toast and scrambled eggs with cheese on top of the eggs. Instead I got french toast and scrambled eggs with hair on top of my eggs. It f****** grossed me out. Then when I went back to get french toast and eggs without hair I only got french toast they forgot to give me my eggs that I paid for so all in all it was a waste of time and money youll find better food and service at the mission

A group of us had breakfast there today. My omelet was great... fluffy, light and delicious. Our friends had the Dutch Baby pancakes, which are a beautiful large pancake with puffed pastry along the edges. (Also delicious.) And the regular pancakes we had were also especially good, too. The service was great...the coffee refills kept coming. An excellent, 5 star experience.

Original Pancake House is okay diner quality breakfast food, not unlike Dennys. They serve a few unusual takes on certain dishes. For instance the omelet is not a traditional French omelet, but a baked dish in a cast iron skillet, a poor mans soufflé of sorts. It is certainly fine, but not gourmet by any stretch. The portions are quite large as well and the prices fair.

If you were going here for anything other than apple pie pancake you will be sorely disappointed. The waffles are awful. And the omelets are just average. With that being said the apple pie pancakes are so delicious it is worth coming back for another. the reason why this is getting a very good rating is because of the pancakes.

We had a Dutch Baby and Sourdough French Toast. The food was excellent. Sausages were crisp on the outside, but stayed pliable. Our server, Jay, was very professional. He made sure our coffees were full, but wasnt hanging over our table annoyingly. All in all, an excellent experience. We will definately be going back often

Do not take young children. Once seated they took 20 minutes to take our order (after we flagged someone down). They brought out our food after another 30 minutes and our french toast was under cooked and our hashbrowns were burnt. Felt like waitress Veronica waiting on us was an inconvenience for her. Not at all impressed.

We waited almost 15 minutes for service. As soon as they realized the broke college students werent buying the cheapest thing on the menu, the service went up drastically. We were actually waited on instead of being ignored. And we went on a Wednesday. It was not busy at all...maybe 15 people max...

We were on our way out to the parking lot after enjoying a great meal when to our surprise our waitress Sandra brought outside two large cups of coffee for us to enjoy on our way home, now that is great service! We hope to see her again on our next visit, highest recommendation!

Great service, but the food is pretty average, and its only up to that level if you add back the salt that they are apparently cutting out for the more senior patrons. There are much better breakfast places, but if you need a sit down place open early, give it a shot.
