The burgers were good. Fries and shake were average. We showed up about 25 minutes before closing (didnt realize that at first, we thought they were open until 9), and we were told we couldnt eat the food inside. We had to get it to go. While that would have been reasonable at closing time, I felt like we should have been trusted to be able to eat quickly and leave without bothering them. Its not like it was a 4-course meal. It was a burger and fries. I worked at a movie theater, and I know that people can be messy, but I know how to clean up after myself. Telling us that we had to leave more than just a few minutes before closing wasnt very inviting, to say the least. It felt like they assumed the worst of us.

Flame Burger is THE best kept secret in Auburn if youre hankering for a good ol fashioned greasy burger. Their bacon is huge & they load it up; their veggies are fresh & their fried zucchini & beer-battered onion rings are amazing. Weve been here multiple times & its been pretty consistent. Its also really reasonably priced. I love this place!

They are Johnny on the spot with food service. It is always clean every time I go there. Very low-key atmosphere which is non-existent in this day and age. Their burgers are actually pretty good, better than average and they have great milkshakes.

Food is pretty good but they wont even give you a glass of water for free (cost .50) and also charge .50 for refills on sodas. Lame and totally not what a classic burger joint should be about.
