While this Habit is clean and the food is still great, the service is not exceptional. While I was waiting for my to-go order, I saw the staff get many orders wrong. When the customer comes up, they read the order out loud to the customer while pointing out everything on the tray. I watched as they were reading the order aloud and realized they didnt have all the right things on the tray, 3 orders in a row. To rectify the situation, they said they would bring out the missing items. The employee who was bringing it out didnt walk all the way around the booth and instead passed it over the booths wall... It was the most awkward thing I have ever seen and it would have taken him 5 more steps to walk around. He forgot the salad dressing again and then passed that over the wall as well. I love the habit but this time the service was a little odd.I dont mind getting takeout at this location, but I always check my order and I dont think I will dine-in here.

As Habits go, this location is on par with the others. The food is good and what you would expect from this chain. There is outdoor seating available (though on a reasonably busy street/intersection). Parking is shared with the Freebirds next door and the Sprouts across the parking lot. Exiting the lot and getting back to the highway is easy if you take what looks like the driveway to the Sprouts loading dock (on the left side of Sprouts), which will actually lead you to a signal that you can turn left from and get back to the main road/highway. If you leave from the driveway you entered from, you will find no U- turns are allowed at the signal.

Handwritten door sign said no grill today Nevertheless I ventured in asking the counter person about sweet potato fries to accompany a hamburger. She replied that their Grill was out of order and that it would take 30 minutes to make it usable. As I had driven quite a bit to get there and I was famished I asked her if she would compensate a customer and her reply was Im not a manager nor did she offer to call a manager. I looked around for a manager. Because a good manager would have been nearby with coupond to hand out to affected customers. The South California Habit is friendlier and better organized.

If you dont mind waiting in line for a while or taking a light up square & waiting for it to Buzz for your burger to be ready. The service is good but takes a while to get your food because the are cooking it. I ordered the jalapeno tempura burger a few times and it was yummy! Down side the burgers are small so you can wop down a few without even realizing it haha.not much seating anywhere at all its so packed.

Great service and tasty food. Was there on aug. 22, 2015 at 1 pm. The cashier (Maria or Marian?) Was very professional and diligent on her work while she was swamped as the only cashier with a line out the door. She also laughed at my terrible jokes which is a BIG + and she was very lovely looking (not to be objectifying but its true). Highly recommended this location, only flaw is the crowded parking lot

I ordered extra crispy / well done french fries. I received extra chewy / very raw french fries-so disgusting I had to throw them away. This is the FOURTH Time that I had this experienced at this location. Also, there is not a phone number listed on the printed receipt to allow me to call a MOD to inform of this mishap. So I had to look it up online-which then motivates me to Post a review.

Another in an endless chain of hamburger fast food joints. After visiting i see very little differentiating it from any of the others. Modern layout is nice, but the staff at the cashier area, were repeatedly confused by an questions or requests that were different than whats posted on their menu. Buns are super soft which is a problem given all the toppings they piled on.

Their burger was good. Really good for a fast food burger. I got mine with avocado instead of cheese, which I think was a mistake. But it was a real grilled burger made to order. The burger was your standard thin McMeat patty, but it had a nice grilled flavor to it, which In N Out lacks. Also the bun was toasted and the toppings were really fresh.

This is a popular location and usually crowded at dinner time. Im okay with that, its how you know its good. I like the tempora green beans. The burgers are good if you get a lettuce wrap like me get alot of napkins and a fork (your welcome I just saved you a messy shirt) The parking lot isnt good as most of the spots are for small cars.

This is my absolute favorite burger joint in California! Better than In-and-Out? YES! The burgers are cooked to perfection and the fries are delicious also. If I could afford to eat here every day, I certainly would! If youre debating between anywhere else and here for dinner or lunch, go here!

I love to order online and pickup. Good Food but prepare to wait, even when picking up never ready on time. Usually show up 5 minutes after order stated to be ready and still have to wait another 5 minutes on average..Its worth it though. At least the food is not cold.

Really good value for fast food burgers. Much better quality than the competiton, roughly $7.20 for a burger with fries and a soda. Can get busy during dinner time but the service is still fairly quick. Overall, very satisfying.

Ive gone a couple times for the Santa Barbara burger. Its good eats, every time. I love the sourdough and its been a consistent buy every time. Also, I love their fries. Dont need to do anything tooem. Crisp and ready to eat.

Great burgers. A less customizable but faster version of the Counter so if youre in more of a hurry its the best substitute around for the Counter. Onev thing lacking is sauce for their sweet potato fries.

The place is very clean and the service was relatively quick. The food quality was excellent, freshly made and hot. Love that they have the bar with hot peppers, lemons and limes!

Best fast food there is Habit burgers are delish! The salads are fab. I always get the Santa Barbara Cobb Salad, which includes chicken, for $7.99. Its a bargain!
