Waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. The waitress blamed us for ordering a "slow to cook" stromboli. If they slaughtered the cow in the back it shouldnt have taken that long to cook. I approached the hostess on our way out the door and she was very aware of the extreme delay. The other waitresses seemed to be moving their customers quickly so it may have just been our waitress. When I called the owner that night, he blamed a computer glitch and offered us a 25$ gift card for the next visit, but that would require us to go back.....not happening. Ill sum up the experience as this "3 Kids, 2 parents, 55 minute wait for food"

Keep driving, do not stop, DO NOT EAT here!!! Im Italian, from NY, have been to Italy, my family cooks good Italian food - this does not compare. Dont waste your money. In addition, the management does not want to hear any complaints. The appetizer we ordered (Calamari) was inedible. Totally overcooked and rubbery plus it had pieces of plastic attached to it. Brought this to the attention of the waitress who in turn told management who took 20% off the price of the calamari. Noone ever came to our table, apologized, etc. you get the idea. They just dont care and it shows.

Ownership is terrible, worked there for just under a year and rarely received paychecks because the owner would keep them. It wasnt a personal thing either, all the employees paychecks where held. Even after I would confront them it would still be a while before I would receive my hard earned money. This is an issue that hasnt been solved do to they still are holding paychecks. I still have friends that work there and have told me that they are 2-3 paychecks behind. I would not spend a cent or even walk into that restaurant ever again.

I had friends coming from out of town and staying at the Best Western...we met at il Castello Restaurant for dinner. We had such an excellent time there. The food is prepared there and is delicious...and the staff were wonderful. Best Western recommended it and it was super. Its in a little strip shopping area, near the interstate, I might just drive back up there from Richmond just to get the lasagna again.

Years ago I had eggplant parmigiana in Little Italy in NYC and never thought it would be topped. Well, its been topped. Who would have thought a little Italian restaurant Zions Crossroads could top one of the best restaurants in the country? Not me. Very pleasantly surprised. Im amazed at how delicious the food is at Il Castello.

We live close by, and this place was always busy, so we had to try it. I was very disappointed when we got our pizza that it was lukewarm. We complained, they took it back, and when it returned, it was still not very hot. Sure we got complimentary stuff, but Im a bit concerned with a place that cant serve a hot pizza!

Staff was very unprofessional, three employees were sitting at the table next to us talking loudly while the rest of the restaurant was empty. We sat with empty cups for 10 minutes before our waitress left there conversation to get us refills. The food was okay but nothing I would return for!

Staff is always friendly. Food tastes great but the portions are a bit small for the price paid. I work across the street and order takeout frequently so getting a little more bang for my hard earned buck would probably entice me to eat here more.

Food was excellent, we had the roasted eggplant pizza and it was amazing. Also ordered a grilled chicken ,roasted pepper sandwich and added fresh mozzarella and arugula with balsamic and it was also amazing!

Placed an order at 730 to go. Said it would be 25 minutes. 45 minutes later it was ready. The pizza was greasy, and the seafood pasta was not fully cooked. It cost nearly $50 for the two meals.
