BBQ Joint: Nice place, good people, great food! Decor was simple rustic and highlights service organizations: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Fire & Rescue, Sheriff & Police. Our first visit: my wife and I ordered pulled pork sandwiches, and our daughter ordered a pulled chicken slider. The pulled pork sandwiches came in two styles: Traditional, and NC style. One would think that the NC style comes with a vinegar based sauce. One would be wrong. The NC style just has coleslaw added to the generous portion of pork. I thought that the amount of chicken on the slider was small, but my 8 year old daughter thought it was just right. The kids slider came with fries. The fries were delicious. Sauces for your meals are on the table. They have 7 varieties in the table, including my favorite NC style sauce. Well definitely go back again to try their other menu items. Including: brisket, ribs, and daily & seasonal specials. The night we were there they offered smoked salmon, and prime rib. A modest list of sides are also available. They serve Pepsi fountain drinks, but also have a selection of bottled soft drinks. For adults they have a selection of canned beer.

I had high hopes. I ordered the pork sandwich nothing wrong with it. We also ordered the chopped brisket. Do not order the chopped brisket. 1st sandwich was a quarter of what my pork was. It was also inedible. They literally scrapped the bottom of the pan for the sandwich. Went back up to get another. Second one was edible but drenched in so much Tennessee style bbq sauce you did know you were eating meat. Fries were fine, potatoe salad the chunks were way too big had to cut into 3 smaller chunks just to eat. Bathroom was out of toilet paper and i had to say something, and i received an extra side for our issues, when we should have been offered a refund on the sandwich. I know, we wont be back.

Mission BBQ is a fantastic bbq chain from sandwiches to briskets and ribs. They are quick and serving sizes are quite large, and they have a variety of sauces to try. I usually take a box home! They have a great mission helping veterans and service members. Its always fun to go at lunch. The whole place comes to a hault, everyone stands and sings the National Anthem. Doesnt get more patriotic than that!

Today was our 1st time visiting a Mission BBQ and we were extremely impressed! My family and I ordered 3 "yard birds", 1full rack of spare ribs, pulled pork BBQ, coleslaw, and bbq baked beans. The customer service was fantastic and every bit of the food was warm, fresh, juicy, and had incredible flavor!! We will most definitely be going back soon and will highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks!!

Always on the never ending search for good BBQ. This place is fantastic! Its nice to see the support and love they show to the military vets. I cant say enough good things. The manager John treats the customers with kindness and great service like he knows you personally. Finally feel like Im getting my monies worth when going out to eat. Mission BBQ A+ keep doing what youre doing. Well done

OMGeeee. The staff are amazing...the food is AMAZING the atmosphere. ..amazing!!! I had the pulled pork Meat Market and it was full of flavor. The only thing I was confused about were the prices. I was told the meat market came with two sides the board said 7something and after I chose my sides it came up to 12something. None the less....it was worth it. It just should be more clear.

The service was great, but the food was not to my liking on this visit so Dasa was kind enough to get me replacement. The mac & cheese is very good, but I found the brisket sandwich too full of brown sugar sauce. Next time Ill just try pulled pork to see how that works out because my neighbors dinner looked delicious. Ill give it another try because of the customer service.

Hands down the best BBQ place around! Wide array of sauces to fit anyones preference (try the Alabama sauce!). The meats are ALL amazing (we made a point to try them all today). The sides are all awesome too! We loved the Mac n cheese and the baked cheesey potatoes. They are open supporters of military and first responders, which makes me love them even more! Dont miss out!

Its not the shack down some back road in Alabama . . . but its close. As far as places that will pass the health code, this is good que. I had the Jalapeno sausage, pulled pork, and wet brisket. That was all amazing. Also got to try pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, pulled chicken, pulled pork no slaw, fries and mac and cheese. All of that was delicious as well.

The best BBQ around here for sure ! And the owners and staff are A#1 ! Great food and a fun place to go. We drive an hour to get there and have taken several friends. Even had one Realtor serving at their Open House. Good selection of meats and sides. And they honor all service personnel, military, police, fire...those that keep us safe. The decor is great !

1st time trial, my wife and i got the brisket sandwich, she got mac n cheese & I got fries. The sides were good, the service good, but the brisket was horrible. It was overcooked, super dry, & little bark. Used a quarter bottle of sauce to help get it down & still couldnt. Too much money for what we got, maybe it was just a bad day.

Great atmosphere and good food. The staff made us feel super welcome. John, I think he was the maintenance guy, was amazing and made my Moms day. He helped her find just the right combination of sauce and meats. John was really knowledgable about the products and history of the company. We will definitely be back.

This place is top notch. I have lunched personally and used their catering service and I am extremely satisfied with the customer service and the quality of the food. This is a great addition to our local BBQ options and Im really excited to continue to try everything on the menu in the future.

Passing threw Virginia we took trip advisors recomendation and tried the Mission BBQ. All I will say is that the ribs were super good.Fall off the bone tender and tasty.Along with mac and cheese it was a nice dinner. The only place for me that comes close is the Midwood smoke house in Charlotte.

Great food and service! Weve been twice in a week! The caramel apple cobbler was delicious! We also tried the smoked meatloaf, its a special, wasnt so sure about it, but everything else was great so I thought... why not. It was AMAZING! If you havent been to Mission BBQ, you have try it.

Fantastic service and a clean restaurant. The food is really pretty good for a chain. They always do the anthem at noon which is cool. I enjoy every time I go in there. The food isnt competition BBQ but I dont expect it from a chain like this. By far the best BBQ in this area.

Very welcoming place with lots to look at inside. Food is good, portions are good, service is good, and prices arent bad. Being a veteran Ive never been here and just assumed some type of discount but no harm. Sign up for their email program if youre military or a veteran.
