I have never been so thoroughly disgusted in a restaurant experience, in my LIFE. Where do I start. Last night my sister and I decided to go have an appetizer and a drink – simple right? Well, we walk in – the place is dead, and the host is shooting on the basketball hoop in the foyer? An empty sports bar on MNF should have been enough of a red flag but we did mind. We’re seated in the section of the only server on the floor, with one other table who had already eaten/ had food. We place our order for a Mai Tai (with half the alcohol requested), Knob Creek Knock out, chips and queso, and spicy ranch wings. After about 15-20, another table being seated and having their order taken, we flag our server who stopped by and said, “it’s coming.” Another 5 mins goes by and here he comes with a tray of waters – 2 for us and the rest for the table seated later. So we’re sipping our water, which was fine until I watched that other table’s drinks being carried past us. Clock us at around 30 mins at this point. We stop him again and he explains, “the bar tender doesn’t know how to make the drinks we ordered so she’s working on them.” Really?? Our appetizers come, and they’re not great but we were hungry so we work on them. With 3 chips, and 2 wings left our drinks finally arrive. Keep in mind that half the alcohol was specifically requested on the Mai Tai – NOT AT ALL HOW it was made. In fact, it was ridiculously potent, and not mixed well so aside from being strong it tasted like straight alcohol. So we stopped the server again, and (I’m sure this is frowned upon but) he stuck a straw in it, tasted it, and even he said it was too strong. When I asked if he told the bartender to go easy on the alcohol, he replied, “I didn’t have time, I’m the only one on the floor.” EXCUSE ME?! If you had time to create the ticket, you had time to do it right. So we ask to just swap out the drink for a dessert; he returns with the drink RE-MADE THE WAY IT WAS ORINGINALLY REQUESTED and said, “my manager tasted the drink too and said it was fine so we took the first one off and either of you can drink this.” NO NO NO! AGAIN, this is not what we asked for. It didn’t need to be free, just bring something that maybe someone won’t mess up. But since we’ve all shared this drink, yes, at this point, bring the manager over here. So the manager comes and asks, “What’s the problem?” Then adds, “I tasted the drink and to me it was fine,” To you?! You’re not the customer right now, and even if it was made correctly according to the menu, it WASN’T WHAT WAS REQUESTED. We explained that our server admitted to failing to put the order in correctly and the manager just said “okay, we took it off for you.” I’M THROUGH. Doesn’t matter how good or bad food or drinks are, the service can make or break the business. They could offer to feed me free for a month and I wouldn’t go back or recommend the Dulles location. Shameful.

Went there on a Sunday…football on every tv…to be expected, right? But the HOMETOWN baseball team, the Nationals…theyre playing…in the last game of the regular season! Theyre good…theyre in first place, already clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, and in this game, the pitcher for us is throwing a no-hitter through 7 innings! Can they put the baseball game on one tv? NO! NO! They can not. They have Bears-Packers on 4 tvs, Steelers-Bucs on 4 tvs, Dolphins-Raiders (from London) on 3 tvs, but they cant put our HOMETOWN baseball team on?! They told me I could find a booth, and in one booth, and one booth only, they would put on the game. If you like a place full of toothless football fans, go here. PS…no-hitter accomplished, nobody saw it but me, in my booth.

We have frequently gone to green turtle in sterling at Dulles mall. Tonight will be my last. Hostess took our drink and appetizer order. Yes you read that correctly hostess. That was pretty much the last time we saw anyone. Manager came by and asked how things were and I said it would be nice to order food. He took our order. Food came out and not great. Someone finally came over asked for check and never came to get payment. I walked over to bar to pay. Mind you no discount for not receiving service. They were back in kitchen goofing off. Worse service and food ever. Management must have change because it has never been like this. Will not be back until new management fixes this issue. Heard another server say they have lost 6 wait staff in the last week. Wonder why?!?!

Last month I took my family to Greene Turtle in Leesburg and we had a great night at our first experience with this restaurant. Then we decided to try their sterling restaurant and it was very very disappointing. I know sometimes the kitchen is busy and you need to be patient but it took them 50 minutes to bring our drinks & appetizers! Then after five minutes the main dishes arrived! The person who was serving never came back to check if we need anything else when we were almost done with our dinner! Im sorry to say this but I didnt like my fish and chips at all and I wont go back to this restaurant anymore!

I dont usually write reviews, but I had to write one for this establishment. I wanted to see the Mayweather-McGregor fight and first thing the hostess said was "NO OUTSIDE DRINKS!" and was very unfriendly to me. I only had a clearly empty iced tea from Starbucks. She could have been nice about it, knowing I was going to be a customer and paying to see the fight. If that is the first impression I get as a customer, I will gladly go somewhere else. They dont deserve my business.

Went to the Dulles location for lunch on a Tuesday. The food was good but the service needs help. Not enough staff on hand. Kids are supposed to eat free with adult meal purchase. But when we got the check, we were told kids eat free with their rewards program only. We had to sign up and get a card to get that discount, which we did. Sign outside the building doesnt say anything about the rewards. Good food, but became a hassle in the end.

Out of towner visiting. Didnt make it past the greeter. Rude and tone that says "You are not wanted". I sat with my wife for ten minutes when I decided I wasnt going to give an establishment that made me feel unwelcome a dime of my money. Word of advice, get rid of your greeter. He is sloppy looking, rolls his eyes, and doesnt set up your restaurant to make money. Dont waste your time here. Go to Sweetwater Tavern.

Waited 10 minutes at the bar and finally walked out after not a single person from the door to the table acknowledged or served us. We were at our own bar table, and were passed multiple times by waitresses seemingly assuming that if they didnt make eye contact, they wouldnt have to serve us. They were right, we left.
