We usually go there for the prime rib. We always have an awesome experience. The staff takes really good care of us and we always leave with a smile in our face. The hostess always gives us the best seats available. The food is wonderful. They have a large selection of steak and seafood. They also have a lounge that is closer to the lobby of the hotel. They can accommodate large parties as they do most times we have been there. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well. The salad bar is very fresh and clean. Everything is freshly prepared and nicely displayed. Like I said we usually go for the prime rib but in the summer we frequently order seafood dishes. The food is always prepared how we request, sometimes we can get a bit picky with how we order. Would highly recommend you try it you will like the experience so much more than going to any of the many chain restaurants around it.

The experience I had here was awful. The only positive was the waitress was nice, but not attentive. I ordered scallops for my meal with a potato and a salad. My dad ordered the light fare fish and a soup appetizer. His soup tasted like chef boyardee, it was supposed to be some sort of tomato and pasta thing. My salad was average. When our meals came out, my scallops were overdone and rubbery. My dads fish was cold in the middle and a super small portion, not even 5 ounces. Our waitress never came back to check on how our food was, so we decided to just ask for our check and leave. I will never return here. We shouldve complained about our food, but Ive worked in the restaurant industry and I dont like sending my food back or complaining when a restaurant is busy, unless its a sanitary food problem.

Our go to restaurant. We eat on the bar side providing the widest options of food. Decor is dated, but the food has been 100% consistently good. My favorite is the ahi tuna ap which I create into a full meal by adding a baked potato. My significant other always gets whatever pork special is offered. Also they have the best prime rib in town.

Absolutely the BEST in Hagerstown, MD...Prime Rib, crab cakes, excellent salad/soup bar are TOPS,,,We drive from Fayetteville, PA to eat there...Also their Sunday Brunch is EXCELLENT TOO..Excellent service, Great food, No lines ever to wait through so you dont need a reservation.. Excellent food and excellent service. The atmosphere is upscale. I wish the price was less expensive (because I would like to go there more often), but you definately get what you pay for. Claudine and Eric are especially helpful and good at what they do.

We have eaten every restaurant in Washington county, the fireside is by far the best all around! The chef there prepares amazing dishes! Salad bar ok, atmosphere is nice, service is very good.
