Two years ago while spending a few days in a cabin in the Shenandoah National Park, I, my husband, son and his wife drove down from the Parkway hoping to find somewhere to have lunch. While in a local grocery store, we asked where was a good place to eat and were told right across the parking lot was Mamma Mia. We decided to give it a try. I had their Pasta Primavera with chicken. (Linguine in a blush cream sauce topped with broccoli, cauliflower and carrots). It was heavenly. Last week, while vacationing in the area and after searching the Internet for Italian restaurants in the Big Meadows area, we located this place again. I can not say enough good things about this wonderful family restaurant. The staff are friendly, the service was excellent and the food is really, really good. And the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place. We plan on stopping in for a meal whenever we visit the area.

Staff was all good looking but the food was terrible I had the bacon cheese fries terrible greasy and mushy and the Stromboli and it was undercooked dough their sauce I can go as far as saying I hated and the bathroom and that side of the dining room stank besides the high price I can say this was an over all terrible experience

The food, service and ambiance are outstanding. I am so glad I stopped here for lunch on my way to Shenandoah national park, the food was so nice it brought me back for dinner. If you are around this area, you should not miss the food at Mama Mia.

Some of the best pizza and calzones Ive had! The desserts are wonderful too. I always order takeout and have never dined in but the front desk staff are terrific and friendly, helping me to the car without being asked when my order is large!

This place serves pretty good Italian Food and youll certainly get a bang for your buck here. Just dont go expecting the food to be out of this world. Just expect it to be average. The service there is great. Its a nice little restaurant.

Ive delivered to these guys on a weekly basis for the past 2 years.. The few times Ive had the good it was awesome. The two owners and their staff are a great bunch of people. I always have a good time when I come by.

Great place to eat. Went this weekend, good Italian food, we had 4 different dishes and all were very good. Excellent portions and good prices. Busy and lively with lots of local people there. Highly recommend it.

They have a great gluten free crust, made in-house. I was very impressed by the texture and taste! The rest of our crew enjoyed the regular pizza as well. Very friendly staff, highly recommended.

I was not impressed with the food at all. It didnt taste very well. Plus i asked for the lunch special and was up charged for extra salad dressing and pizza toppings with out being told.

Went last night, food was good, not great! Ciros in Elkton is way better! It will do in a pinch but if you have a choice I would drive the 5 miles to Elkton!
