I had a wonderful experience. I called ahead of time to make a special order. My husband has EE and he is severely intolerant to dairy products. It was his birthday and usually I just bake him something. I heard about this bakery from a friend at work, and they told me they have vegan cakes. So I decided to give them a try. When I got to the store to pick it up, it was adorable inside. The staff was very friendly. The cake itself was BEAUTIFUL!! I was so pleased with my order. That night at his party, he was so excited to see it was a store bought cake!! He hasnt had a cake like that in probably 10 years or so. Everyone else was impressed too. It was so delicious!! Thank you so much to the staff for making this wonderful cake. We will be returning for sure!

I usually hit up the Soutside WPA after going to the SOTJ farmers market. Its a hidden gem, for sure. Rarely ever crowded but always a decent flow of customers. While Im sure WPA is best known for their pastries and baked goods, the soup and sandwiches at this location make for a great quick lunch.

One of the best bakeries in Richmond. They have a great selection of allergy friendly treats, that taste just as good as non allergy friendly baked goods. This location has a bit more space than the church hill location which is great! Try the caneles theyre awesome!!

Not just a bakery. Homemade ice cream. Best chicken salad. Cookies. Pies of all all kinds, cake and amazing muffins. My dog walk has turned into a bakery run! Did I mention they have their own doggie treats?
