Bought some baguettes from Sheilds market in Richmond to try and they were terrible. Stale, tasted like a freezer and flavorless. They claim to bake their bread every morning fresh but it tastes like it has been sitting in a freezer for weeks! Gross. False advertising. If you come across their bread dont waste your money. Talked to gut that used to work there and he said they would bake their bread days before and then freeze it and sometimes just leave it sitting out and that the bakery itself is dirty and their equipment is not cleaned or well taken care of.
