HORRIBLE _ DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Ordered a burger Medium, came out almost completely raw - asked if they could just bring me another at medium temp - im not picky - was willing to wait - THEY RECOOKED FOOD THAT I HAD ALREADY EATEN OFF OF WHICH IS A MAJOR HEALTH CODE VIOLATION left bite of burger and had cut burger in half before biting the first time around and definitely was still cut in half with a bite out of the burger when it was served to me again with new bread and toppings to try to disguise it.... (Checked with Health inspector - they were disgusted and are sending an inspector out) AND THEN MANAGER ON DUTY DEFENDED THE RECOOKING OF ALREADY EATEN FOOD ON THE GRILL - having touched with utensils and counters for other preparation of foods that could easily have cross contaminated.. i chose NOT to eat the burger after it was re-served to me.

Ive been here twice. The first time was on a weeknight. Food was good ... cooked the way we ordered and my turkey burger was good. The service was slow and we barely saw our waitress. My boyfriend sat with an empty glass for at least 20 minutes before she asked if he wanted another despite walking by us several times. The beer list is full of local VA beers, which is awesome. The second time we went on a weekend and the burger was not cooked as we ordered. The waitress immediately recognized that we werent happy and said shed have it re-made. SO the service was better the second time, but the food was better the first time. Its worth going at least for the beer menu and seeing the inside of the cool building.

OK, but I really anticipated it being better. The deviled eggs were good, but the bacon wrapped jalapenos were disappointing. No flavor, no heat, pretty bland. The burgers were overcooked (as many reviews pointed out). The chili was actually cold when it was served. That bothered me quite a bit, plus it had no heat and very little flavor. Sorry, but I really cant recommend this as a place to eat. However, the service was good and food was presented well. It just didnt cut it taste-wise and thats the most important part of the deal.

We drove from Hampton, VA to try this place out and it was great! Service was superb! Courtney was our server/bartender and she made us feel so welcome! She even let my friend sample a couple beers since the one he wanted wasnt in yet. By the way, the beer selection was incredible! We had the buffalo wings, Station2 burger, and the George Orwell burger. These werent ordinary burgers at all! They were fresh, juicy, and filling! PERFECT! The atmosphere was so cool. The fire station may have added an extra couple of stars into the 5 :) Thanks!!!

This old fire station converted to restaurant and bar nails it! The theme fits perfectly with the vibe of this restaurant. I think Ive encountered every server there - all great, friendly and knowledgeable! Brunch, lunch or dinner - you cant go wrong! The burgers are great and juicy and the fries are great but sub out for sweet potato tots once in a while and youll love it! Big bar area with great bartenders! Theres not usually a wait here even though the place is always busy! Which is awesome!

The food was good, but it wasnt great. They offer Against the Grain buns for the gluten-free bread sub, which is awesome. They also have a lot of native GF items, though nothing from the fryer. All of our burgers were overdone, so they were quite dry. Were it not for that, this would be a five star review. The service was great, and their food options are quite original.

Good experience overall. My burger showed up WAY overcooked (I asked for medium rare and there wasnt even the slightest hint of pink in the middle) but as soon as I brought it up, they were amazingly helpful and so polite about the whole thing The replacement burger was absolutely perfect and delicious.

Was looking for a good burger joint enroute from D.C. To Savannah, GA. Thanks to the reviews here, decided to give it a try! Burgers are excellent! Perfectly cooked just the way I wanted it (medium). Fairly priced. Love the ambience of the place! Great service! Will definitely be returning to this place!

Great service and the burger was amazing. Got the wet fries (basically a poutine) which was awesome. Also got the New New Mexico burger. The only place Ive been to in RVA that had a green chile option. Well cooked beef patty. It seemed really fresh. Would definitely go back.

Great beers available... And the sweet tater tots are the dopest. You can make a meal off a large bowl yourself, or split a bowl for dessert. Burgers are on point and its one of the few places in the RVA where I can ask for a rare burger and ACTUALLY get a rare burger.

Place is cool based on looks alone. I like the different sandwiches. I am not a big burger fan but like to try the different ones they have. Their outside seating is nice to, off the path of the street and in between the two buildings out of the sun.

Sundays are the best days. Arguably the best bloody Mary in town. Mimosas are an excellent deal too. Sit at the bar and you will be well taken care of by Kat. Place is known for burgers, but Chicken wings and chilli are worth while.

Great time at Station 2 this past Friday! Great selection of beers and burgers. The best thing though is their "Adult Milkshakes!" The "Naughty Girl Scout" was a delicious concoctions of ice cream, mint, chocolate and liquor.

We had the Beef Hula Burgers which were cooked perfectly to order, and beer cheese with pretzel bites as an appetizer. Service was quick and attentive and the food was absolutely awesome. Great use of an old landmark, too!

Had a glass of wine a beer and a bowl of gumbo and paid $20. Gumbo was tasty but wasnt gumbo. Tasted more like soup with a lot of stuff in it. Will return. Have heard good things about their edamame burger.

Great service from Josh. Fun atmosphere tastefully decorated. Burgers were fantastic. ..just wish we had saved room for fried moon pie for dessert! We will definitely go back next time we are in Richmond.

I have lived above this restaurant for 2 years now. The food is great, the beer selection is always on point, and the people are amazing. Everyone is extremely welcoming and makes you feel like family.

Good place to eat, nice atmosphere. The chili was tepid, I was expecting it to be hotter... but the new New Mexico (turkey) burger was excellent. The staff was on target... friendly and courteous.
