Cook Out was great when it first opened up and they had the corporate people there to do quality control. Lately service has been pretty bad, specifically one particular worker working drive-through at night. First bad experience was a couple months ago. Asked for two huge bacon cheeseburgers with nothing else on them. Went through, and got everything on them. Drove back through and figured it was just a fluke or a simple mistake - the order-taker didnt sound too thrilled, but I figured it mustve been a bad day and I let it go. Wasnt in the mood to go all the way again after a long day at work, but I was polite and was offering to pay for what I originally asked for on top of what was given to me even after giving the wrong sandwiches back. The manager handled it expeditiously and I only paid for what I originally asked for. I didnt ask to see a manager, nor did I need to see one, but he or she solved it quickly and efficiently. I was quite content for that. The second time was tonight (around 11 pm 8/9/2016). Asked for the same thing and it was the same lady because her voice matched before, as well as her tone of voice. I repeated an additional item three times, and it sounded like she said "what else" but she said it quickly without trying to clarify. Got my food, and the order was wrong again. The receipt didnt match what I asked for, and the food didnt even match what was on the receipt. I ate what was given to me because I didnt feel like wasting my time to make a complaint. Whoever that one worker is... she seems to hate her job and comes across like we need to understand her pace and tone. I feel sorry for the other workers who hand out the food because they have to deal with annoyed customers from the order-takers poor attitude. Im not hard to please, and I dont need a bubbly person to take my order - just simply get the order right. Its frustrating to get off work and get a nice meal after a long day, only to have some lady (with a chip on her shoulder) get the order wrong and have to drive through all over again, especially with how long other people take to order. At this point, Im starting to think this particular worker purposely puts in wrong orders to get back at customers who rub her the wrong way, making a customer drive through again or walk inside the store to complain. Its a shame to have to write this, because all the other workers do a great job, are polite, and get your food quickly to you. However, I will not be back - I dont need a patronizing and passive-aggressive attitude along with wrong orders. The food is quite good, even for food this cheap, but its worth it to pay extra at another place where you wont be patronized and your order will be correct.

the food was perfectly fine, the only problem I had was with management..I travel for work, state to state hosting seminars etc.. A big part of my job is contacting businesses via email with advancement opportunities which I can do via laptop or phone ..Well june17 I came to this establishment, ordered food, sat on a corner and proceeded to work for w few hours.. No issue, I leave for a few hours to handle other affairs, come back to this establishment for dinner and work some more ..To which, I am then greeted bye the POLICE and asked to leave because management said I was there too long... REALLY?? I ordered food big times and sat quietly to myself (dressed in a dress shirt and work clothes) yet they call the police . Yea I am African American so if course it feels I was discriminated against with this random police call. Luckily the cop was cool and I gave him no problems and I Proceeded to leave to my hotel. But this has to be the most random, act of fuckery Ive been through.. especially because not once was I spoken to by a manager. just the police..damn shame

We drive 50 minutes for the hush puppies. Considering that I spend more on gas driving there than dinner Id say its worth. The service is always good, the people at the counter are always friendly and fun. Its often crowded unless its late at night but the atmosphere is good and the food is better. The burgers are fine and theyll actually put what you want on your burger. You get get two meals for 10$, milkshakes are alright but God himself tosses those blessed hush puppies into the frier and nurtures them into delicious morsels for your own enjoyment. Theyre good a day later cold. Theyre good two days later, still cold. Theyre just really good, alright? Maybe you wont like them. Either way, its a nice place with good people and good food and it wont cost you much. Worth. Eat it.

I love Cookout, but this is the absolute worst location, period. The building itself is set up to be crowded and hard to navigate when more than 10 people are dining in. The drive thru line is routed in such a manner that makes it unsafe, especially during busy times. Over multiple visits, the food has been horrible. My BBQ chicken sandwich was so dry I felt like I was eating cotton. The honey mustard chicken wraps that my girlfriend and I ordered had NOT A DROP of honey mustard. The sweet tea was well, not sweet and tasted like the urn needed to be cleaned the day before. I will not return to this location, not even to use the restroom. I am beyond thankful I live in NC and have an amazing Cookout location in town.

I will start by saying the food was good; I enjoyed it. My issue was with the service and the staff. The young man that took our order was very dismissive while talking to us. He never once made eye contact always looking over our heads. When we asked questions, rather than answer, he would point to the menu board that was beside his head and difficult for us to see. After receiving our food, I had to go back to the counter as an item was left out. When the same young man brought my item he acted as though I was putting him out for getting my food. While I did like the food, I dont know that I will go back - the service just did not warrant the wait for the food.

When this location first opened up it was great. While the location is bad they would still get through huge lines in a relatively short time and the food quality was good. Now as theyve been open awhile the quality of the food has gone down and I waited in the drive through for 35 minutes today with only two cars in front of me. It was quite irritating as I could not exit the line and I had somewhere to be. I got the Cajun chicken sandwich as usual and they just globbed the Cajun seasoning on and it tasted horrible. I really wish they would get back to the way it was when they first started because now it isnt worth the wait.

If you are looking for a big juicy burger, go to Wendys. If you want a home made burger made fresh, then you have come to the right place. A double burger is about the size of a normal Wendys burger and even there you get more toppings. The fries were crisp with just the right amount of salt but I was very disappointed with the cold slaw. Small sized and very bland. Customer service was great main reason for the fourth star. Nyannah very nice and helpful. Final verdict: Would I recommend it? Yes but only to people who love home made burgers. Would I go back? Most likely not. Glad I went there? Yes.
