I would give it zero stars if I could. The pizza hut, nao and zen, taco bell, and chick-fil-a all have so-so employees (with the exception of chick-fil-a; theyre all super nice, most of them just dont freaking know how to pour a drink the right way). But this subway? They are wretched. I asked for a "little bit" of something on my sandwich while the girl making it was looking at something else, just piling away the toppings. Im not exaggerating; as I asked for a "little" of something, they gave me a lot, and vice versa. There was no customer service, they barely listen to you (she put lettuce on my sandwich and the sandwich of the guy in front of me before we even said anything; neither of us wanted lettuce-- What is that??), and they all look depressed and bothered by the fact that they have to help you. Zero work ethic. Its horrible. Go to a different subway, even the one on Broad is better than this pitiful excuse of a restaurant.

Just like the other reviews Ive experienced such poor customer service here that Ive stopped coming altogether. Staff doesnt acknowledge you when you walk up to the counter, they just stare and wait for you to say what you want or greet them (to which they still dont respond). One time i stood there for several minutes while 3-4 employees held a conversation and walked around in plain view of me before someone came over. If they do speak their response is "What you want?". The pod is like this too. Its disgustingly sad.

The subway workers disgust me. They are so bothered when they take an order and they dont have any professional way of speaking what so ever. They mumble everything you say and when theyre even bothered to repeat what they said. They are very rude, very rude. Not going back to that subway ever again being it was my second time experiencing the same problem.

Gifts cards they do not accept-- Dont mean to disrespect, but this subway is a disgrace, VCU needs to be put in their place Why not offer gift cards to college students? Least you can do if youre gonna provide food that makes us mutants.

The employes are VERY rude. They act like theyre bothered when they have to take a food order. I absolutely hate going there and try to avoid it if I can. Its funny, they dont understand that they have a job because of the customers.

They serve frozen and undercooked ingredients to their customer. The quailty of food safety and preparation are below average so dont bother eating here unless you want to get sick.
