My wife and I went there this past Saturday night hoping to have diner and, of course, try some different beers. Upon arrival, we were informed by another customer that we had to seat ourselves. Though there was no one manning the hostess station, there appeared to be numerous WOB employees walking about. It was busy but we found a an open table on the main aisle near the bar. As we were seating ourselves, a waiter began serving drinks to the table just behind us and another waiter began serving a table along side us. Ten minutes later, no wait staff had yet to acknowledge our presents. We waited an additional 5-6 minutes and decided to leave. During that time several waitstaff passed by our table and we observed four staff members standing behind the bar just chatting amongst themselves and checking their phones. We were in the place for over twenty minutes and never greeted by a member of the staff.

My two daughters attended Tuesday Night Trivia on January 5, 2016. They were required to leave either a debit or credit card to cover any charges. Their tab totaled about $18 and was settled in cash and their debit card was returned. Three days later, my daughters bank account was hit with a $170 charge. When she called to dispute it, they told her it wasnt their problem as they had a signed receipt, which of course she never signed since she paid in cash. The fraudulent receipt included Jameson Irish Whiskey which my daughters never drink. Just be careful because its obvious they have employees that are either careless or cant be trusted. My daughters and all their friends who were frequent visitors have decided to boycott. Its just not worth the hassle, especially with how this issue was handled. The good part is that her bank and its fraud department will be investigating World of Beer.

The beer was fine, but a bit overpriced. Flights were really expensive; you get 1/3 of a beer but they charge you 1/2 the price. The food was also disappointing and very overpriced, considering its quality. I got a burger and the patty was one of those pre-shaped frozen things, pretty low quality for $13. The worst part for us was the atmosphere. Insanely crowded and horribly loud. My ears still felt funny the next day. I know that’s somewhat unavoidable for a successful place, but it really ruined things for us. Service was also slow as a result, and we couldn’t hold a conversation because of the noise. I’ll keep an eye on their (admittedly amazing) taplist and go back if I see something exciting, but only at a time where I can expect them to not be so damn crowded and noisy.

Good beer selection with a nice mix of local and international. Service is a little too casual and unorganized. I dealt with four different servers who had no idea if I had been tended to yet or not. In their defence, I think they were training new staff, as most servers were being shadowed by smiling speechless twenty somethings. The food was disappointing both in selection and quality. I had no idea anyplace other than McDonalds still served McDonalds fries. Blah. And I hadnt even ordered fries, I had asked for coleslaw as a side. But I wasnt willing to wait longer by sending it back. Club sandwich was just ok, and other than the pumpernickel break, was no different than a roadside lunch counter in any small town.

I have been to WOB - Reston 1-2/week since June 2014. I have almost always had very positive experiences there. I had groups of 5-6 persons for several World Cup 2014 games and the service was very good considering the crowds, especially for the final on July 13th, 2014. The bartenders and servers I encounter give me efficient and attentive service. I am pleased with their overall performance when it is crowded. In addition, I think the food quality is very good. I am a Loyalty Club member and keep track of the new beers I try on my Android application for WOB. I can also choose the & ABV and color, etc., of the beers I prefer and what is currently available the days I go. Ill keep coming back.

Upon arriving we sat ourselves at a hightop table and waited approximately 20 minutes before having to get a menu ourselves. We eventually changed tables so we would be noticed a little better. Service took longer than we expected (they seemed to be understaffed). The beer was good but overpriced when you order a flight of beer ($15 for a 4 beer flight). The food was okay and seemed to be priced appropriately. Unfortunately our pretzel appetizer never arrived. I would probably go back but would have to sit at the bar next time to see if the service is better. The whole place seemed a bit unorganized and lacked good management.

While there is a plentiful selection of beers (some of my favorites) I sat at the bar so service was adequate. When I chose to drink a flight of local brews, this is where the staff fumbled. Product knowledge is very important in this industry. When the bar staff need to consult on which brews make up local breweries and in the end, select an out of state beer and and a cider out of the four beers, I am not pleased. Educate the bar staff if you advertise craft (and local) beer. I might add, I could have selected four in state beers from their selection myself, but that would have been their "Pick your own flight".

I would say the best way to describe this place is... good. The beer selection is pretty solid, but the bar is always so packed and so loud that it takes away some of the enjoyment from the place. That being said I still recommend the place as a good option, in Reston Town Center, for some weekend fun. The bartenders are sometimes hard to get a hold of but thats more because of how busy the place is then anything else. They do an admirable job of keeping the people happy, I have had our food not show up a time or two.

Its all about the beer. World of Beer lives up to their name with over 500 hundred beers available, including 50+ taps and zero mainstream American beers. There is also a limited selection of wine and liquor for non-beer fans. 24 televisions provide a wide variety of sports and easy visibility. Food is adequate for a beer and sports joint, a bit pricey for the quality, but generally in line for the town center.

Located in Reston Town Center, this place has a great rotating selection of beers from around the world and a great menu for food and appetizers to compliment the selection. The wait staff was was very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of good seats to choose from. Good for hanging out and having a beer or having dinner and / or appetizers matched with the perfect beer, no matter what your tastes.

Out of almost every beer we ordered. Our waitress was not knowledgeable about the beers. When we ordered something and it was out, they would bring us a different beer we didnt order. Our waitress was very slow and we were left at the table for long periods of time without a beverage. I was in town from buffalo, and would not recommend this location to my worst enemy.
