I have been here 3 times and have always enjoyed my visits. When I bring up Aslin, I always mention how drinkable their IPAs are and that they dont slap you with bitterness. Their stouts are also very well rounded having a full flavor but not being too heavy or full. I showed Aslin to a couple of my friends and they loved it after their first beer. I have been to a few breweries over the past 5 years, but Aslin is my favorite. On my first visit during American Craft Beer Week, I joined the mug club and didnt even think twice about it since they have tasty beer, friendly staff, and a laid back clientele that will just strike up a conversation and hang out with you. Also, they have live music from time to time which is a treat. Stop by this place at least once, you wont be disappointed.

Aslin is making New England-style, Tree House Julius-quality-level hazy juice bomb IPAs. Aslin is a brewery in Herndon, right off the Dulles Toll Road, pretty close to Dulles International Airport. They do not serve food. They do growler fills and crowler fills. The dirty little secret is that Aslin makes fantastic stouts too. They also make saisons and tart beers and they have a barrel-aging program up and running. Seek them out. Last time I was there everyone was talking about what Toppling Goliath whalez they just drank. That is the kind of following this brewery is getting.

The beer was talked up a good game from friends, but I didnt think it was all that special. The first time we tried to go, there was an anniversary party that was $100 per person yet they didnt post this on their website or social media so we left and found all the other breweries we didnt know were in the area so that was a positive. The next time we went back, the staff wasnt very friendly and the tasting room is tight. Parking is difficult, too. I would skip it and visit the others nearby instead.

Good place. Take away only for the last 6 months or so. Beers are very fruit forward and typically dont hold up more than 2-3 weeks. Cans release on Thursday and they sell any leftover cans and fill growlers for the remainder of the week (or until they run out of beer). Not sure why there are reviews on here with old pics of when it was still a bar you could drink at. Aslin updates most often on Instagram so stay up to date.

Horrible place, run by jerks. I drove over an hour last week to fill a growler of one of their IPAs that so many people here are saying are good, and they refused to fill it. They had written "NO CARRY OUT" on the blackboard at the front. So not only do they not sell food or have outdoor seating, but you cant even fill a growler! So the only way to enjoy one of their beers is to drink it on site. What a hassle. Boo!

Weve been to Aslin several times, and had a great experience each time. All the brewers/barkeeps are knowledgeable and attentive. At Aslin, youll find beer combinations youd never find in your grocery store. Theyre innovative, and their combinations make you think about your drink. This is a great little gem in the area and their beers knock most of the other breweries out of the park. Cheers!

One of the best breweries in Northern Viriginia, and the state, and one of my go-tos. My wife and I frequent Aslin and have always had a great experience. The space is cozy, but the vibe is super laid back. The owners are super friendly, as well as the staff. It can be very busy on release days, but its all part of the fun to enjoy fantastic craft beer.

Went here on a rainy evening and was not disappointed. The space is sort of an industrial garage bay and the big doors were up so we could hear the drops and feel the moistness in the air. We sampled all the available beers and all were excellent (I was particularly impressed with the porter), but there was a citrus-y IPA that was just phenomenal.

Take away only . They only allow 64 oz per beer per customer so if you have the juggernaut like me thats 128 oz your either getting it half full or making a beer cocktail and I understand they might want to save some for other customers but still never had that before at other brewerys . But the beer I did have was not bad at all.

I am really confused by this place. A previous reviewer said they had a "no growler fill" policy in place and you could only drink their beer on site. Went here today so my husband could try their beer and the guy working there said they only do growler fills and carry out and he could not try the beers on site. Weird.

More of a 3.5 and not because of their beer, that was great. Actually wanted to buy crowlers, BUT of course they are logistically underprepared. Out of crowlers and no take ouy. Rather a bummer because their beer game is great. Just disappointed, if I ever come back hopefully it is better and they have more than 3 beers.

I was a fan of the beer for the first run, with a good variety. I found the higher gravity options better. No food or outdoor seating but it is dog friendly. Kids have a small corner are with books and toddler toys, not terrible, but not for anyone above preschool age.

Great beer! This microbrewery serves delicious beer in a relaxed, warehouse/brewery environment. They have menus for local restaurants that will deliver food there. The seating is limited and it can get crowded, but great for a quick stop for some delicious craft brew!

This is my favorite brewery in the DC area - hands down. Everything is so delicious. I cant wait for them to expand - theyre currently having a little trouble keeping up with demand now that the secret is out about how good they are!

Best brewery in VA. Full stop. Fruited beers are fruitful. Hoppy beers are full of hop flavor and not just bitterness. Emphasis on mouthfeel is what sets these guys apart from the rest. I hope they keep killing it!

Went today and apparently it is a barbershop, where you could only sample if you were getting a hair cut. They would only sell us cans to go. Maybe it was a special event, who knows nothing was posted about it.

Phenomenally fresh and tasty beer. Ive found myself trying beer that I dont normally try and loved it all. Plus, the staff are super friendly and smart. Were such big fans that we joined the mug club!

One of the only breweries that produce juicy NE IPAs in the DMV area. Clearly ahead of the curve. Only gripe is I wish they had the capacity to distribute kegs to DC! Meridian Pint please.

I have been here 3 different times and each time the beers have been great! I prefer IPAs, and they make awesome ones. The bartenders and brewers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Well deserving of its loyal local following. Can get packed on popular nights, and a line firms before they open on beer release days. Great range of quality beer. Worth a visit.

Great hole in the wall brewery. Arrive early, since they run out of some beers towards the end of the day. They also dont do growler fills - you have to buy crowlers.
