Went to this location for lunch today, July 30th, 2014, and I may never go back! We waited at the hostess stand for a full 5 minutes before our presence was even acknowledged, and the restaurant was almost empty! Turns out the person who was working the hostess stand was the person who had been standing next to us gabbing it up with someone about what appeared to be a personal matter. When she turned to greet us and take us to our seat, she did not in any way acknowledge or apologize for the delay, and when she took us to our table, she was obviously in a very bad mood. The service was average, but not as prompt as it should have been given the emptiness of the restaurant. Food was good, but I was very turned off by how we were greeted (or should I say NOT greeted.

I am in between two TGI Fridays(Fairfax and Manassas). Ill never go to the Fairfax location again. The service I received seated or take out has been horrible the last 4-5 visits. I kept hoping the next visit would be better but it consistently lacked competence throughout the restaurant. Management isnt any better. The most famous excuse was "Im sorry; we just have some bad communication". Thats OK the first time but try to learn from your mistakes. I thought "oh, they’re just busy" or "he/she must be having a bad day" but after visiting the Manassas location, I could not believe how poorly managed the staff at Fairfax is. If you don’t believe me just visit both locations and see for yourself.

I went here with my friends for a birthday and I tried the Dragonfire Chicken from the portion control menu...it was disgusting. The rice that comes with the dish had NO flavor. The chicken was soo dry; I think the driest meat I have EVER tasted in my life. I ordered a smoothie b/c I didnt want to finish my dish and that tasted like strawberry syrup diluted into water. My friends werent satisfied neither. They left half of their dishes unfinished. I must say though if youre watching your weight, go to TGI Friday b/c their portions are reasonable. The food itself=nasty. Worst american restaurant experience...

The absolute worst chain restaurant. Not only does their food come out cold, soggy and taste like they just microwaved it - they can NEVER get an order correct. I am so sick of them never having my order correct when Im ready to pick it up. I stopped going for months, and upon my return back to using them they are still horrendous. I tell everyone that shops in my store in the shopping center to NOT go to this place and I advise anyone who intends to go to change your mind. This place is a disappointment, and you will only leave feeling disappointed as well.

Great menu options always. Had the Jack Daniels rack of ribs along with a crispy shrimp on the side, just delicious. My husband tried their ribeye with Parmesan butter and it was cooked perfectly. Whether we go there for lunch on the weekend, or out for the evening we always enjoy ourselves at TGI Fridays. The wait staff is great! They come around often and thankfully they never mix up our orders.

We were on our way to Silver Diner, but the line was long so detoured to TGI Fridays because we had already purchased movie tickets and were pressed for time. The food was terrible. The menu is outdated. Who knew a club sandwich could be bad. They should be ashamed to call that soggy bread a baguette. Gross! Should have waited in line at Silver Diner. No wonder every one was over there.

The food is terrible, the condiments are completely off, ordered the salmon with langostino, both had being bathed in pepper, the salmon was burnt. The only good thing in here were the French fries and the mango ice tea. Service was so so, but with the poor food everything started to feel worse. Even my 6 year old told me "Please dont bring us to eat here ever again". And I wont.

Ill tell you why I hated this place ..they dont believe in heat in both their thermostat and their food. Had to send the food back twice because everything came out cold. Hostess just threw the menus down on a table and walked away. Server was completely unapologetic and had an attitude. Plenty of restaurants around this area ..I suggest you choose another.

Been here a handful of times and service is normally much better than other area TGIFs. Last time I went though, it somehow took 35 minutes to get them to get us the finalized correct bill after we were done eating. Will still visit here, like the location in the mini shopping area next to Barnes and Noble, Gamestop, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy.

Used to love going to this place for cheap drinks and fairly good bar food. Their Long Island iced tea was a fun drink, but it was so weak this last time I wont get it again. Alcohol is the point of that drink, and it was mostly mix. And the service was so bad last time, I probably wont go back.

Food full of black peppers and not well condimented. Salad is a pity. Service is lacking. I told server that too much peppers in the food , she apologize and went her way, she did not think to refill my water even. Kids could not eat the food and wanted to leave. Such a disappointment.

I ordered a burger and got a half cold one with soggy fries. I ordered a draft beer they served me a bottle. My party asked for a split check and the waiter couldnt remember who has what then said the orders were basically the same when it was wrong and we asked for it to be recomputed.

Came this TGi Fridays on Christmas Day. Let me tell you it was beyond pack. Orders would take 30-60mins luckily the games were to help pass the cook time. Food & Drinks were fine. The waitress Katie was good. I hope she enjoy her tips from our group tonight thanks Katie!

Very Cold and Old fries and soggy bun on burger. Now I remember why it has been so long since I was last at FGIF. Sent fries back and 10 minutes later no fries and cold burger. They comped it which was right thing to do but beat part was nice server and hockey on the TV

I dont think waiting for 30 minutes for a server to greet you at a table is ever ok. This is the worst service ever and on top of that someone came in after us and they got greeted way before us. We gave up and left the restaurant to never come back.

I went there for a birthday dinner and was not impressed at all. The food was cold and not well cooked. Out of the 12 people that where at the dinner 1 person liked their dish. I will not be going back there again

Been a customer for five years and it has improved since I first started dining at this location. They have done well with the kids menu and maintained a clean and friendly establishment.
