The only reason I come here is that its the only store within walking distance in this area. Thank God I live elsewhere so I rarely come but experience is pretty much always the same. Never enough cashiers and the ones that are there are mostly overworked and unpleasant. One older lady with short gray hair in particular is always complaining, especially in the mornings. Hollering back and forth to other workers and talking about how she has been there since 6am and blah blah. Gossiping with everyone else. NEVER greeted me in 2 years of coming here. Just tells me my total and an unenthusiatic "have a nice day". But thats not all...before you come inside there are men standing around outside hitting on women or asking for money. Salad bar usually looks tired. Prices are wildly out of proportion with other stores...partly Im sure from the amount of items stolen on a regular basis and partly....because they are the only store around. One older lady with white hair is always friendly and helpful and thats about all.

I would give this store zero stars if I could. It is NOT a fun place to work. Coworkers are rude and uncaring, and I felt I could not assert myself there without earning an attitude from one of the coworkers. To make matters worse, she was hanging on me almost every minute. I did not appreciate that and will not say her name due to privacy, but I can tell you youre better off applying to another Farm Fresh or elsewhere altogether. Im still wondering what a "courtesy clerk leader" is and where that was written on her nametag. Workers should be respectful of one another, especially to new people, in the workplace, not step all over them and definitely not follow them around everywhere. I will not be applying to a Farm Fresh again but will still shop at a store. Definitely not this one, though.

Deli counter is underwhelming in their customer service. They are very slow and have no sense of urgency to acknowledge and serve the customers. They are often too busy talking to each other to pay attention to customers and cant seem to talk and work simultaneously when they do. When they do acknowledge you the or tone and body language is as if you are bothering them ...as though they are doing you a favor. Please teach them to acknowledge people at the counter even if its to say "Ill be right with you". Also the cleanliness of Deli prep area leaves a bit to be desired. Conversely, on a more posit Ive note the seafood counter has much better customer service skills.

The most horrible grocery store I have ever experienced! When it came to speaking to the store manager, she only contributed to my disgusting experience with her awful demeanor. I will never shop here every again. Im sorry to those who have no better options. Unfortunately it is the only option for those who have to walk. The selection is terrible, the majority of the employees are very unpleasant people, if you come across any. Btw Ive lived in Ocean view for over 25 years, and people like Charlie, the store manager, paint a very sad picture of how people should behave.

DELI COMPLAINT - JOY Went in to get a couple pounds of chicken this morning and was very turned off by service. When I asked JOY in the deli for 2 pounds of spicy and 2 pounds of regular she immediately said "oh no. I cant do that. I dont have that." shaking her head. I asked her could she cook them and she kept insisting no and rolled her eyes twice. When she noticed Jamal (another associate) watching her and then she asked him. He said yes he could and got my order started. As a former employee of the Farm fresh family I am saddened by this poor service.

This farm fresh is terrible. Hope you dont need hamburger, steak or chicken when shopping here because 9 times out of 10 youll be out of luck. Their lines are also always long no matter the time of day, cant really blame them for this but it is still inconvenient. Edit: wow I forgot I reviewed this place its been so long since Ive been there... but... yet again this farm fresh has found a new low. Just bought the 13.99 Bubba burgurs and completely freezer burnt.....WOW!!! I only wish I had more accounts to bring the overall score down to where it should be.

I cannot stand the place but sadly it is most convenient. There are NEVER enough checkout lanes open & there are a couple cashiers Id rather go to the longest, least timely promising line to avoid them. One woman in particular has dropped the F-bomb on me multiple times. I let someone know the first time. Nothing. I let someone know the second time. She is STILL there! Im sorry but that is in no way acceptable and I would be ashamed and embarrassed to have such an employee on my payroll "representing" a store I am affiliated with!

Easily the worst grocery store I have ever been in. Aside from feeling like you could be mugged at any second in the parking lot, the staff are the rudest, most ignorant bunch of people on earth. The store is filthy, the staff is rude, the prices arent competitive, the produce has gone bad, and the meat is disgusting. This is the most ghetto store o have ever been in. Save yourself the headache and just go 10 min down the road to Harris Teeter. At least there I dont feel like I could gate raped at any second.

This place is garbage. It should be shuttered. Ive gone in several times to zero carts and baskets. There are frequently transients outside and INSIDE the store begging for beer and harassing customers in general. It may be the most convenient to the Spit, but definitely more convenient to keep driving somewhere else, and safer. Ive also had cashiers there tell me they go to other stores themselves because they leave expired and moldy food out at this location for customers.

The worst store i have ever been in the store manager Brenda Williams is very rude and disrespectful to me the customer.Corporate really needs to look at that store it is in a great location and could do much more business if management was straightened out and managers had better attitudes its the only grocery store in Ocean View and it sucks out loud.Hopefully corporate will fix the problem.

High prices. Employees always arguing with customers. Never enough registers open which is why you always find my groceries on the floor at checkout as I decide Food Lion is better...again. 4th time in a row I leave disgusted without buying anything. And employee bicycles chained sideways taking the entire rack. Simply, Farm Fresh is beneath Food Lion, Aldi, Kroger and all the rest.

Decent produce, but limited selection which is great if you like a lot of different kinds of apples. Stay away from the salad bar. Im not sure what happened to it, but it used to be decent. Usually over-picked and not clean or well maintained. Isles are cramped and items are hard to locate. Parking is atrocious with a lot of foot traffic from people asking for handouts.

The people in the Deli ignored me as I waited. Then they must have been uncomfortable with me waiting so the worst one in the group said "I have to help the repairman, so Ill be with you when I can." she is the older lady. Four people were working in the department. I walked away and didnt buy anything.
