I have eaten a LOT of chipotle and considerer myself a huge chipotle fan. This one is the only one that I have had issues with. And it is not just the occasional problem. I have numerous complaints every time I go there (Ive been at least a dozen and a half times). I only continue going because no other one that is a reasonable distance from where I live/ work, and like I said Im a huge chipotle fan. The line is typically shorter than other Chipotles that I have frequented, but it takes double the time because half the staff is standing around, or they will have 3 people working the register while only 1 is making the food. Almost every time Ive been there some ingredient was "out" or needed to be prepared (I understand this happens occasionally when its very busy, but the fact that this has been the case even when its not busy is completely due to an apparent lazy staff or terrible management). Almost every time the fajita mix is completely charred (which not only tastes bad, but is also very unhealthy) and on 1 occasion I had to throw the burrito out because of how bad it was. On multiple occasions the meat was so undercooked I didnt think it was safe to eat (and I normally love steak cooked rare). During the half dozen or so times that Ive ordered online they have gotten the order wrong (either by including an ingredient that I didnt want/ list, or by not including an ingredient that I listed) all but once. I also have shown up twice about 10 minutes later than the burrito was supposed to be ready, only having to wait because they did not make it yet. All these issues are very easily corrected by better management and staff hiring/ training, which makes it that much more frustrating.

I went in and ordered 2 burrito bowels, one chicken and one steak. I didnt understand the difference btwn the burrito bowel and just the bowel, I was told the only difference was a tortilla in it, then was told that the difference was one was a burrito and one wasnt, and then something else. The explanation was confusing to me. Then i was told it was the same thing. My son had told me it wasnt and had gotten something different in Richmond. I got charged for 2 steaks. When I went to the register to ask about it, the girl was dismissive the whole conversation and made me feel like i shouldnt be asking about how much she charged me and that it wasnt important, then told me "its only a 50 cent difference". She told me she would have to refund the whole meal then re ring it. I asked if that would take two weeks to get back on my card, She said she didnt know. I told her never mind, expressed that this was horrible customer service, with a bitterness she then just repeated "have a nice day". I sat to eat, then went to ask for a manager and both girls turned their backs on me as I asked for a manager. I had to yell for one three times...when my voice was loud enough to be heard by the whole restaurant...nobody was in the lobby...then the girls jumped, and I was seen. The managers were very pleasant to talk with, even willing to refund my 50 cent in cash.

A sad state of affairs. Disclaimer: I worked here for a month, but am still a frequent customer. Im writing this review because I just left there with a burrito that was 80% tortilla with 3 people working the line and not a lot of people in the queue. I applied at Chipotle because it has been my favorite place to eat for the past 7 years and I havent gotten sick of it yet. As I worked there, I started to notice that the management wasnt quite right and it affected how the restaurant ran very negatively. After working there a month and seeing almost every manager talk smack about the other managers as well as the lowers workers out loud to other employees, I was disillusioned.. Not to mention the compensation isnt worth the heckling after having been in the job force for a while and this not being my first rodeo. After leaving today and seeing all new people working there except the Apprentice and one line worker, as well as having the smallest burrito Ive had in the 7 years Ive been eating there.. I wish it was better. I wont stop loving Chipotle, but besides the GM/Restauranteur George, the management seems like it needs an overhaul because that ship is sinking quickly and theyre taking the quality and standards of Chipotle with them.

This is definitely the worst chipotle i havd even been to! I ordered a chicken fajita burrito. The fajites were extremely undercooked, the rice was over whelming salty, they underportioned the hell out of my chicken(i couldnt even taste the chicken while i was eating the burrito) i asked for a little cheese amd she put a whole handfull on it. And then she just could not roll this burrito to save her life, it was filling apart and i had to use a fork, and it had to be the smallest burrito i have ever had from chipotle. The communication was terrible between the staff. I constantly found myself telling someone what i wanted and then being asked again. First and last time in this location.

Line is usually out of the door. You wait to be served then are rushed by the line staff to order. The hot foods ie., meats, beans, fajitas veggies are not warm. Something is always out even at non- peak times. Have been to Greenbrier& Town Center, VB, long lines but servers more pleasant and faster. No consistency in what constitutes a serving(spoonful, 1/2 spoon, third???). Only return because love Chipotle and its the closest to home. They need to step it up. I prefer Chipotle...but theres a Qdoba closer to home. Do not like being rushed or slinging my bowl down the line to sit with3 others to complete. Service sucks.

Its None of his business either I eat or throw away... or give to any hungry homeless....its my money. If I got this question next time .. definitely I will reply in my way.

This Chiptole is in a great location; however, there are two managers at that location who do not represent the Chiptole brand; Bobbi and Jessica lack customer care, and have consistently shown they do not value customer loyalty. Daily my collegeaues and I go to this location, and have interacted with these two on numerous occassions, and continue to get the same behavior. They ration out the portions, have literally remade or stated the portion sizes are too much, and then will elude to extra charges. The food is good; however, the service can be better.

Slowest chipotle ever. The serving line was so disorganized which made it obvious why the wait was so long. Also my husband and I requested double meat in our burritos and we were given nearly a spoon with an additional four-five pieces of meat. Apparently that is what double meat means to this location. Not to mention the lack of burrito folding skill. This chipotle needs some major help. Will definitely take the time and drive to the Virginia beach location next time.
