BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT GO HERE! This place is a racist piece of trash! I went in there for the first time and the only reason I bought a burger is because a customer who was already there ranted and raved about it. Perhaps she failed to see just how rude, unprofessional, and ignorant the older racist white woman was at check out to the both of us who were African American. No Hi, No thank you. When I asked about the burgers as I was a newbie she seemed annoyed, I even handed her my money after she placed my order and told me she would take it when it was finished giving me a stupid post it number when I was the last one left in store and harshly shut the glass screen in my face. She gave me my food and I asked for extra ketchup she was about to give me one and then thought better of it and gave me two what a rip off. So cheap, rude, and disrespectful. I will not be coming back at all. They can kick rocks. Blacks boycott this place believe me there are far better hamburger spots in Hampton Roads!

I LOVED IT ! i totally recommend people to come here for good ass burgers. not sure why people are saying they are rude they really are not and when i went a lot of african americans were in there too. i am also mexican not even white and i got treated very nicely. was kinda sad they dont add mayo to the all the way cheeseburger but i will be going back without a doubt ! :) and just because it has the same name as the one in texas we all know its not the same so im not sure why people automatically believe it has to be the same lol silly

Food was good, customer service was terrible. The lady acted as if I annoyed her by coming in, I was the only customer in the restaurant. No hello, no thank you. I called back and spoke to the manager about my dislike for the poor customer service. The older lady that waited on me was very rude. She definitely did not seem too fond of African American people. She rushed me in, and rushed me out. I was there for the first time, and did not know what they had to offer. They just left a lot to be desired. :-(

This is my first time in over 20yrs from the last time I was here. Burger was not like it was back then. Years ago the patties were hand patted and three times as thick but now them damn things are thinner than McDonalds hamburger patty. Bring your own salt and pepper to give it some kind of flavor. Being from New Mexico, all it took was a rumor for me to make the trip from Virginia Beach to Newport News for a burger. Majorly disappointed. Not at all the Southwest What-A-Burger. They gotta be infringing on some trademark by copying the name so exactly.

Ordered my food based on the online menus on their website. When I called in I was told they dont carry the add ons advertised and only locations in Texas offer them although they advertised it on their site. Disappointing to say the least.

The burgers are on a soft bun, meat is thin but good, chopped onions, tomato, mustard and ketchup. Place your order and stand and wait or call it in. Crispy crinkle fries are hot n delicious!!!
