To sum it up, excellent food and service. Last year we came to visit Williamsburg area and stopped by a few Korean restaurants around and this place was the best! My wife knows about Korean food and its not easy for her to really like the place, but she does and so do I. We were thinking about a place to go for our kids Spring break. We picked Williamsburg area just to go to this Korean restaurant again. We are staying for 2 nights and we definitely have plan to go to this place for dinner on both nights. We just went tonight and as expected still excellent and tomorrow dinner we are planning to go again. And its not just food. The service is also excellent. I dont care so much about the interior and decor, but they are good enough. I cant say they are fancy, but its nice and clean. I go there to eat, not to look at the decorations. Next year, we will probably come again. I wish we lived around here just for this restaurants. The other two that weve been to last year were pretty bad compare to this one. The price is about average Korean restaurant price.

1) My ice tea was filled with ice... I couldnt even stir the sugar I put in the cup. 2) The plates are small... I guess to give the appearance of it being more food than what it is. 3) My wife makes better rice! 4) The bulgogi was dry and slightly burnt. 5) The egg rolls were ok but not enough sauce... I couldnt double dip.... 6) They did not have a stove to where we could cook our own food. My judgement comes from living in South Korea for 5 years...overall Im disappointed! ;( Its an average korean restaurant.

Clean and the wait staff were very cordial. The sides were good and they brought extra when asked. Had the beef on fried rice lunch special. The cost was good... the restaurant taxes in Newport News are hefty. I liked it. My friend brought me in. He has eaten lots of Korean food in many cities and he likes this one very much. The hot tea was a bag of Lipton in a cup. Im not complaining, because I dont know but I was expecting something in a pot. Ill be back.

If you know what Korean food really is and taste like this is the place to get it. Authentic and fresh. Small place feels just like the places we use to eat in korea the food brought back tons of memories and flavors we had been craving for quite a few years and could just not find! and finally got it here. As I said if what you want is the real deal go here and get it! awesome service also. Family business it seems and the food tastes just like that a home prepared meal.

The food was okay. But we were charged with a 13.5% sales tax. When I asked, the owner explained that the sales tax in Virginia is 13.5%! I believed her. But then when I checked online, the sales tax in Virginia is about 5%

Great place for lunch. If youre worried about time, call ahead. Always great service. I love getting their Beef Bulgogi lunch special. Would definitely recommend.
