We went there for lunch on a Tuesday. The overall feel upon entering was not very clean and the place was almost empty. There is a button at the hostess station to ring for service, which rang a doorbell in the back to alert a nice Asian woman to come out and help us. She was the only staff we saw the whole time and may have been the only one there. The table seemed to have some old crumbs around the dial to operate the gas cooktop, but we ignored that and ordered water. My glass was very dirty to the point I was disgusted (which is saying something). I ordered a can of coke and then lunch. We ordered bulgogi, which being $30 we asked if that was enough for the two of us. She seemed to indicate yes, but when we got the bill we discovered we had each ordered our own $30 bulgogi. Live and learn. We were new to the process and didnt know what expect. The meat is cooked on the table in front of you over gas heat. The woman wedged a shot glass alongside the previously mentioned dial to keep the gas on, flipped and cut the meat, and then disappeared. We had to flag her down later to ask if the meat was supposed to be this burned. She did bring out a half-portion of additional meat to cook with less color, and was nice in a miscommunicative sort of way. The food was OK, but not very really wonderful or plentiful. Our experience was sketchy, expensive and unrewarding. I wouldnt go back there for any price.

We came here for the lunch buffet and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and gave good service. The buffet was loaded with delicious and authentic Korean food. The sushi was also delicious! My picky Japanese wife loved the sushi. The had so much meat thay was very delicious! I loved the Korean style fried chicken wings and all you can eat bulgogi and kalbi! This restaurant used to be called Goong Jeon, but was recently bought out and the name was changed to KOKI BBQ. The waitress was kind and explained that the restaurant had different owners a few different times and the last owners didnt care about making the customers happy. This new management seems to be very friendly and they are not rude at all! This is the new and improved Goong Jeon, and if you havent been here in the past month and a half, you should check out the new and improved KOKI BBQ! Their lunch buffet is from 11:30-2:30 Monday- Saturday.

I came here for my graduation dinner yesterday, and despite being newly open, the restaurant was very professional with great food and friendly staff! The owner and waiter were both polite and sociable which felt very welcoming. It was a pleasant experience, and there is a great variety of sushi, noodles, rice dishes, and BBQ options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone within the area to try out some Korean Cuisine! Thank you for the food (:

The service and the employees were amicable to say the least. Extremely friendly and sociable! Great food and good drinks. The soju is good and the Korean rice drink is great as well. This is a place that I plan to frequent. The karaoke is fun and comfortable. My only complaint is that their song list is limited, but if youre not there for karaoke then it doesnt matter. 5 *s

Really disappointed. We went for lunch today 12/22, at 11:45am. Door was locked. Called the business then and after 12, no one answered. Walked around GB for a little, went back at 12:30pm door was still locked. Called again, same results. Was really looking forward to Korean BBQ today. Saw all the positive reviews. Wish the business would stick to their posted hours.

Read that they had opened up again, so went for the lunch buffet. The restaurant was closed when we arrived. Based on this and most recent reviews, if they are open again they are not operating consistently or up their previous standard. Definitely call ahead if you want to take a chance here again so you dont waste time like myself or others.

Here almost every week since it opened. The best Korean bbq place in MD! Really fresh meat and delicious sides. Smoke-wood flavor really spices up the bbq flavor. Staff is friendly and service is great.

We are here now taking lunch buffet. The sushi is gone for 1/2 hour and no sign of it. No one is taking dirty dishes away. The BBQ is terrible. The sushi and kimchi however is very good.
