If I could give it 0 stars, I would. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Not only did our whole party have to ask repeatedly for our drinks, napkins, food, utensils...the waitress could not have been more rude. Every time we asked for something she rolled her eyes or said something smart about it. When we asked for management the waitress told us no. After we chalked it up to just a bad experience, paid our $100 bill, and went to our cars, this young waitress came out of the restaurant to yell at us across the parking lot. My, by this point, irate husband went back into the restaurant and after 30 mins of arguing with piss poor management about how an employee should act at work and customer service, and the manager making a million excuses about how the waitress is just too young and she is having a bad day because they are understaffed (which they were not AT ALL busy), we were refunded our money (which we would have never asked for if the waitress had not come out of the restaurant after us). Needless to say, we are a few more regular, paying, local customers that will NEVER be back!

We love Chef Lee. Lunch specials at the best deal as its pretty much dinner sized for for several dollars less. Freshly made everything. While we dont like the orange chicken (too orange), we love everything else weve tried. It seems the folks that dont like it as catching the more expensive and really not too different dinner. We have found that pick up chicken items tend to get a little soggy in the containers as they are made to order. So dine in is superb for the crispy chicken entrees that are distinctively theirs.

Alright, so I generally dont go out of my way to review Chinese restaraunts in the literal middle of nowhere. But this place was out of this world. Food was fresh, portions were generous, menu was creative and thoughtful (Honey Twin was amazing,) and the service was quite good. At first I felt like the prices were a bit high, but when I thought about it, if I hadnt pre-judged this place because it was attached to a Food Lion, the price is exactly what I would have paid for that quality of meal.

Got the general tsos-for $11.50 it is NOT what I expected. Small portions and it tasted like the general tsos you get out of the frozen food aisle at a grocery store. Also got the house lo mein-worst lo mein ever! It smelled gross, tasted gross, and was the equivalent of less than a small at other places. The eggroll was equally as bad! It tasted like it had peppered sausage in it. Will NOT be back! The best part about the food was the containers it came in. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Was not very impressed with the quality or quantity of food for the price. The food was over cooked, mushy and bland the first time I went. The second and third time we went food was only moderately better and still rather bland; I am not one who enjoys spicy food but this was bland even by my taste (hot and sour soup tasted like broth). There is an alternative option in the area that is much better and the value for the money is much better.

Management not friendly. A lot of staff turnover since the last management change out. Staff now seems stressed and nervous. Ive been coming here since Chef Lee opened and am disappointed in atmosphere and decline of the food. The Hot & Sour soup has become bland. Oh, and if you want "fried rice" with your meal, expect to get steamed, off color rice instead. A number of people we know have stopped coming because rudeness from the managers.

i was a customer until the owner wanted to be very rude and disrespectful, i came to pick up an order and they told me the price. i asked them it seemed a bit high of what i usually ordered. the ower came to me and said not my problem.i i would never treat anyone the way, like this place did. what happened to the good old customer service days....???? I guess not a big loss, Im just one customer.

Very polite staff. I ordered a lunch special extra spicy lo mein with fried rice. I got bland noodles with a spoonful of chili paste - seemingly an afterthought - with two massive spoonfuls of rice cooked in soy sauce... no vegetables or egg in the rice. It wasnt terrible, but it wasnt good.

Food is good but if you use take out the crispness gets lost so remember to open up your containers on the drive home. Big fan of the lunch menu. Dining in seems to be larger portions than take out. Staff has changed in recent years but food is still good.

Its hit or miss, been their and the foods been great and I been their and the foods been the worst food I ever had. To the point its unedible. It almost like they have two different cooks, one great and the other one needs ALOT OF HELP.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times and find that the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and stay on top of your needs. We would highly recommend it to all hungry folks! :)

I can sum up my experience in two words, " NEVER AGAIN ". They bought everything at Food Lion, tripled the price, warned it and said enjoy. Seriously, the best part of my meal was the fortune cookie(stale by the way)

Im a semi regular here. Everything I try is my next favorite meal. By far the best chinese food I have had. I was the only man in the country to go to a chinese restaurant for the Stanley Cup finales.

The food is good. But seriously expensive for basic Chinese food. Id pay less at a fancy restaurant for steak, and I mean really good steak. Id stick to the Chinese buffets same food better price.

Do not under any circumstances go to chef Lees...The manager is very rude to the customers and staff. She would not let a customer eat his to go food at the bar after ordering a drink.

Staff is friendly, and this is probably the best Chinese food in the area... Prices are high, though, especially for dinner. Not high enough to keep us from coming back, though.

I like there beef and broccoli but everything is over priced. If i know before hand that i want Chinese food i get it n town as Im leaving work just because of the prices.

A great Chinese restaurant with very good food. Their General Tso is fantastic. Good service. They take special requests like "steamed only" or "sauce on the side".
