I had just moved to Woodlake a few months ago and planned to try everything available for delivery in the area. The first time I ordered, not only was the service awful, but the food was completely inedible. My family eat a LOT of Chinese food. We enjoy a wide variety of authentic Chinese food as well as Americanized Chinese food. Zheng Garden was honestly the worst we have had anywhere. My husband actually ordered from ZG a few weeks later, assuming that the first experience had been a fluke, but it was awful again. The second time, his order was wrong and there was a hair in his food. The fried rice was so dried out, it mustve been sitting out for hours. Truly awful. Do not waste your money.

Decided to give this place a try. What a mistake. The lady taking the order was unfriendly. Had to repeat my info over and over until she finally got it right. Pretty bothersome.Their food is simply disgusting. I was unable to eat the Kung Pao Chicken that I ordered. It was way too salty. The crab and asparagus soup looked like snot. One of our meals was incorrect. $50 that literally went into the trash. Never again will I patronage this place. Overprices and inedible food. The delivery was fast so 1 star for that.

Although I like their food (,MOST of the time) their customer service ( with take out) leaves a LOT to be desired!!! I had a Val Pak coupon on my phone (with a " coupon code"). They REFUSED to accept it as it was no on "paper"!!! We eat there quite often...needless to say I am VERY disappointed!!! I dont understand why they have a "mobile coupon" if they wont accept it. I explained the paper ones were not in my latest Val Pak but they STILL wouldnt honor it.

Great place good service. I can tell the person that thought the Crab and Asparagus soup looked like snot apparently isnt used to authentic Chinese cooking. That is how it is supposed to look and I must say was one of the best I ever had. There were two of us and even though I ordered two egg rolls and the crab and asparagus soup on top of the regular meal my bill still was only $35.00, very reasonable.

Food is very good. The egg drop soup is awesome! The service however, is not very good. Half of the waiters were very lazy, some were nice though. There was one, our server who set us to our table and walked away, didnt even give us any menus. When she came back to ask us what we wanted, we told her we needed menus and she walked away like we were dirt.. but ghetto bright side, food was great

Read the reviews by other consumers and was quite surprised by the negative feedback. My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed the always fresh and great tasting food at Zheng garden. Service there has never been a problem either. After my first tasting I have been a repeat customer over the years and rate the food and service what I think it should be for a Chinese restaurant. ......very good.

I'm not sure why people are hating on Zheng Garden. It IS take out chinese (Matt why wld you expect otherwise? This place is the best takeout in the area by far. Beats Tops China, yen cheng, and interchina by far. And I've eaten at all these places many times. Do yourself a favor and eat at Zheng Garden...also go for lunch, its a great deal.

NOT GOOD - General TSO Chicken burned, no flavor. Orange chicken tasted like the burned version of the General TSO, with a hint of orange. Called to complain, the man who answered the phone said I should have asked for "soft" chicken instead of "hard" chicken. WHAT??!! Taking the "dinner" back for refund. To be continued...

Best weve found near Woodlake. No msg and service is always quick (deliver and takeout). The food is good. Husbands only complaint is its not spicy enough (he orders extra spice and says its not extra spicy but its spicy enough to probably kill me.) Wanton soup is great and is my favorite of all Chinese places I have tried.

Good service. Fast and friendly. Food was a letdown. Typical American Chinese fare. Will not be going again. Not recommended Next day update. I was sick last night to the point I thought I was dying. I was definitely poisoned by the sweet and sour pork. Stay away from this place like the plague

My husband and I are avid eaters ar Zheng Gardens. The food is tasty and fresh and can be altered any way that your choose - nothing like the strip mall places, not like a previous reviewer mentioned. You can actually find the shrimp in your dish as they are 4 times bigger than the strip mall.

Zheng is better than the average Chinese food found around Hanover. Delivery has always been quick for us. For the best they have, dine in. Something about table service at a Chinese restaurant seems to make everything taste better.

Usually use for takeout. If they are not super busy, they can frequently make up gluten free versions of the dishes using brown sauce from scratch, as the prepared sauce that most Chinese restaurants use contains gluten.

We had the best shrimp and broccoli I had ever tasted...in my life! The food is superior all the way down to the egg rolls and sweet tea. This is a "best kept secret" for sure in this part of town! Will return....

Wouldn’t know how the food is. When we arrived at 9:15 pm they asked if we would take longer than 20 minutes to eat because they were closing at 10 pm. Not exactly Grade A service.
