I dont use the 1-star lightly, but this place definitely doesnt deserve any higher. All four dishes that my family ordered were oddly-spiced, and didnt taste fresh. My wife was very upset that the vegetable egg foo young combination she ordered came with pork fired rice instead of vegetable fried rice. It also came with a pork egg roll that was dripping with grease...it pooled on the paper towel I placed it on. The wonton egg drop soup had a gelatinous texture. The pork fried rice that I ordered was scorched in some places, had partially raw onion, and tasted like it had been cooked in old cooking oil or in a wok that wasnt truly cleaned. The kung pao chicken sauce tasted like white pepper had been dumped into a stock brown sauce instead of being made fresh from soy and chiles. Most of the food was put back into the carry-out sack and thrown into the garbage. Oil from the food oozed through these bags onto our kitchen floor and our dog got in trouble because we thought she had urinated....Please accept our apologies, Carla...

Weve been eating here for years. We love that they deliver to our home. I agree that the delivery can take a while, but that being said, we were told 45 minutes the other night and it came in 25, so its a gamble worth taking. The few times it has been a longer than usual delivery time, I go pick it up...no problem as the staff is friendly and the food is well worth it. The prices are very reasonable and in line with what others charge from VA Beach to NOVA. Hubby and son LOVE their wonton soup and crab rangoons. I cant get enough of the mu shu chicken (sp?) and veggie chow mein. I always request with no mushrooms and they happily oblige. We recently tried the ribs that they serve as an appetizer, and we will certainly be ordering them again soon! Give Lucky Chinese a try. Even if you wait for delivery, it is well worth it!

My husband and I decided to try this for lunch, for only $5, it seemed hard to beat. I went and picked it up and was rather shocked. The inside is very grundgy and dirty. The door is wide open with the cooking area just a few feet from the door. It just seemed really shady and dirty. We got a mala shrimp, mala chicken , wonton soup and 2 eggrolls. The eggrolls were decent but the dishes were awful. I only ate a few bites of my mala shrimp. No taste, strange aftertaste. The soup tasted like dirty dishwasher. It was thrown completely away. Disgusting. We wont be back.

I do not think I will order from here again. I got Szechean bean curd and it was literally chunks of tofu put in a large cup of sauce. No vegetables or anything else but tofu and sauce. The sauce was so thick and overpowering in taste, because it was just straight sauce and tofu that I could not even eat it. I thought they made a mistake that I called back and was told my order was right and to order something else next time if I wanted something else. I wasted my money on this.

Not very accommodating. As a local business owner, I couldnt imagine treating my customers that way. Tried to place an order at the counter but was interrupted and had to wait while they took phone calls. Young lady in glasses wouldnt hand my credit card back but instead placed it on the counter - not a good sign! No form of gratitude for doing business with them after I finally received my food. Bad business etiquette. Dont think Ill be back!!!!

Guys - do not go "there" to eat. Its obviously not a dine-in friendly place. But the food is ALWAYS bangin - Im a vegetarian and they can sub their tofu in anything - for real, general tsaos tofu - its delicious. Whenever we have company or friends from out of town that are craving Chinese food - this is our go to spot. I will say, it looks pretty terrible in there - but its worth it ;-)

We have our food delivered often. My husband is hooked on the Singapore Rice Noodles. I like the Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoons. We get the Wonton Soup as I like the noodle and puppy likes the meat inside. Everything is in large portions. Service is quick and everyone I talk to is kind. For us Luckys Chinese Restaurant is a PLUS!

Ive been going here for years. They are fast and the food is great. They make most of it in house. You can see them doing the prep work when you come in and you can also watch them cook. Nothing hidden here. It is more for take out rather than dine in but if your not snooty you wont have a problem with the dine in.

I received a decent coupon from them and decided to give them a try. I ordered 2 dishes from them and the meat was chewy and disgusting. We ate about half our food because we were really hungry but threw the rest away. No chance for leftovers. I would order from Yen Ching which is nearby.

Dont order from here! The food is rotten. This is the worst place I have ever ordered from! The smell of the hot and sour soup was gross! I knew if I had eaten it I would have gotten food poising. Do yourself a favor and order from anyone, except this place! I give it negative stars!

Ordered lunch for the family off grub hub. Order time was pushed back and took an hour and 30 minutes, food was stale tasting and the egg drop soup looked like Jell-O will order from wah wah from now on since their food comes fresh and is ready for pick up in 15 minutes

I order the lunch special weekly and I have never gotten a disliked one! Their lunch specials are great and you get sides which includes soup or drink and I think that is GREAT instead of paying extra other places for your drink. All for $5.50. Try them!

Delivery last night arrived one hour after ordering, had to call twice to see where it was. We ordered two different chicken dishes, they both looked and tasted the same. Food was not hot and we were up all night sick. Never again!

The hot and sour soup tasted like beef broth.there was no mushrooms or tofu in the soup. The egg rolls were bland. Wont be eating here again!

I just ordered food 3-2-16 @ 4:50 pm and I did not get my food until 6:25pm. The food is stone cold. I will never order from there again.
