I really have no complaints about the food. All the ?s that popped up in my head about this place were more related to service/presentation, but I found these things more amusing than bothersome, so I didnt deduct any stars correlating to the amount of "Huh"s that popped in to my head. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated at an actual table on a Thursday night around 8 pm. I liked that the hostess was able to give a specific answer when I asked how far we could go with the buzzer (between Barnes & Noble and West Elm). Once seated, we were soon greeted by a mystery guy, who I later decided served no purpose. When we were greeted by our actual waiter, he asked if the other gentleman (I dont remember his name) had explained the menu to us at all. Huh? I dont recall him doing that, (unless I just wasnt paying attention) so I now wonder why we were greeted by the mystery guy in the first place. I ordered the Superfruit Martini, and the cocktail shaker had enough contents to fill my glass twice. The cocktail shaker was left on my table, and just as I was about to refill my own glass, my waiter popped in to refill it for me. Nice timing friend! We ordered the Ripe Plum Tomato Flatbread. They dont kid around when they say FLAT bread. The bread was thin, but still tasty. For my entree I ordered the Chicken Citron with beets, broccoli and wild rice. The chicken was placed on top of the rice, leaving 1/3 of my plate empty. Huh?. I immediately moved the chicken to the side of the rice. I really dont have any complaints about the food, as I even ate the broccoli like a good little girl (I normally only eat uncooked broccoli). Now to the important stuff: DESSERT! I had been eyeing those little shots of heaven from outside the restaurant, and eagerly awaited their arrival. I didnt wait for our waiter to suggest dessert. As soon as our dinner plates were cleared from the table, I stated "Im ready for dessert!" Our waiter brought out the tray of shot glasses, and pulled out a flashlight to light up each dessert as he explained all the different flavor options. Huh? This was really strange. I know the lighting is darker in your restaurant, but we are not in a cave. You can save the flashlight for an emergency. I got the Key Lime Pie and something else with Mango, though I really wanted all of them. (I can care less about the amount of calories I would have been consuming). On that note, yes, this place likes to make everyone aware that all menu items are under 475 calories. However, I usually never order an appetizer or dessert from a restaurant, so Im pretty sure between the appetizer, entree, and dessert, I probably consumed as many calories as I would have at any other restaurant. Basically, the calorie counts are not the reason I came to this place.

This is the coolest place in a mall that Ive ever eaten. They have an amazing menu that changes weekly, and locally source many ingredients. They also have a huge wine menu, with was only made slightly less enjoyable by our waiter spilling our wine 4 different times while serving it. There was also a live musician, but he was barely audible over the din of dinner. I couldnt tell if he was singing words or crooning. It was like there was some sound but Im not sure if it was music or not. The food itself ranged from really good to chimerical. There might be a pregnant woman in the kitchen. I had some appetizer with shallots and lemon peel along with a sauce made from mayo. It was original to say the least. I loved the desserts! They were all tiny, fitting into a shot glass, and so there was no guilt. They do rather push them on you, bringing a selection of them to your table and plopping them down in front of you. That works if you like to be goaded into guilty pleasures. I guess its a matter of taste. All and all a great restaurant if you want to try something new and be bullied into eating a fabulous desert on a wine stained table cloth. I really did enjoy my dinner though. Come expecting the unexpected!

Decent food, but the service was some of the worst I have ever endured at any restaurant. We went there for early dinner, with plenty of tables open. After checking in with hostess, she said someone will seat us in a moment, but we proceeded to stand there for 5 min, with her and a manager just looking at the computer screens. When I asked, she just said shes waiting for someone to come seat us, while my pregnant wife just stands there. After being seated, someone greeted us and brought water, but no other server came. Finally, my mom grabbed someone who was rushing by, asked if she could find our server, and it turns out she was the server. She never greeted us, introduced herself and just said "what do you guys want?" Still not making any eye contact, she just took the order and didnt even bother to ask if we wanted anything to drink. I dont want to go into more detail, but the poor service continued for the rest of dinner. The food tasted ok, but I was in such a foul mood from the service, I just wanted to get out of there. I am usually the one to never complain, being a former server, but this was atrocious. I will never return to this restaurant again.

Seasons 52 is one of my favorite places to entertain and dine. Ive visited three others down in the Southern Region (Florida and Georgia). This Seasons 52 -Tyson Corner failed in two categories (Food and Service). Heres why:1 - Food: Vegetables were cold and dry. (potatoes, carrots and broccoli). Well, the broccoli were kinda warm, but not warm enough for comfort. However, the entree - cedar plank salmon was delicious. The staff was alerted and the consolation was FREE dessert.2 - Service: Wait staff did not pay attention to detail. We swapped the asparagus for broccoli, the meal arrived at the table with asparagus, not broccoli. Refills on drinks were extremely slow. Service really seem slow here and we had a team of two. I was terribly disappointed with this Seasons 52. If it was my first visit, it would be my last. I wouldnt go out my way and drive 50 minutes to this place in Beltway traffic to eat here again. Sorry Seasons 52 - Tysons Corner, we have parted ways.

I do not normally write reviews, but we had such a splendid time celebrating our anniversary at Seasons 52 (McLean, VA), I felt I should let folks know. Ed, our server, and Jackson (the manager), treated us like royalty, lavishing us with an appetizer compliments of the chef. We had two appetizers which were nice, and shared the entree salad of seared ahi tuna crunch - a very romantic and tropical dish (the grilled pineapple and crunchy vegetables and almond make the dish). We enjoyed the tiramisu dessert - served smartly in a shot glass - very much. One feature of the restaurant is that every dish is composed to be less than 450 calories. After dessert, we were treated to a lovely half glass of champagne (blueberry-infused), and presented with wine glasses embossed with our initials, and a wooden wine stopper. All in all, a magical evening and one we will treasure and remember forever. Thank you Seasons 52!!!
