What an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! The BEST FOOD Ive ever had! Obrigado and Floozies blew my mind...The food, the desserts the staff, the owners....EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!!!!! Ill be back! I ride my motorcycle over 600 miles one way, two or thre times a year, just to savor their cooking and baking! If you live within 2-3 hrs of Louisa, VA, you owe it to yourself to go in and treat yourself to such a wonderful experience, on every level! Thanks for doing your best for the last 10 years!!! And my stomach thanks you.... ; )

We went to this restaraunt on a Saturday night. We were greeted at the door and asked if we had a reservation. I said no not knowing it was necessary for a small and I do mean small downtown place of business in the dumpy town of Louisa. The owner discussed with the hostess where to seat us almost regrettably. The menu was one page with very few selections and high prices. The tables and chairs were in much need of updating. Needless to say I was not impressed.

On an almost nice, warm fall day with the fall colors almost peaking, Obrigado is a wonderful place to go for lunch. The food is as spectacular as the art and decor of the restaurant. The specials were quite good. Deserts were to die for. Service was excellent and the owner/chef had some good stories on a curious rock from India on display on the bar which made for interesting conversation. I look forward to my next visit.

My Fiance and I toured through Louisa before our main vacation in the early part of June. We stayed at a local B&B across the way and was recommended Obrigado Restaurant. We went there twice and had different dishes at each experience. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone. Wonderful food and the owner paid special attention to my dietary needs, which is always a plus in my book! ;)

This was a bit of a disappointment. The service was great, the restaurant could use some updating, the food was so so. Im not sure how much of their food is homemade and how much is from Sisco? But Ill tell you what I had to eat tasted like pre-made food. It did not stand out in fact I can barely remember what I ate. But like I said the service was good the people were nice.

The pasta was cooked perfectly. We ordered calamari and it was great. The place was super busy and the wait was a little on the longer side but the waitstaff was really friendly. Our appetizer was delayed so our server brought us salads while we waited. The decor is an eclectic mix of local artists works. Reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere.

After having patronized this establishment dozens of times and sampled nearly everything on the menu, we can honestly say that it is by far the best restaurant in Louisa! Obrigado offers a wide variety of absolutely delicious options with outstanding service. We look forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work!!!!

We happened up this place while on vacation and exploring the back roads of VA. I was drawn in by the window mosaics and had to stop to check out the menu. We were very happy with the service, the food, the window table and to find an eatery that supports local artists off the beaten track. All the best!

One star is too much for this place. Worst service i have ever recieved in my life. Food was great but the service is horrible. Waiter was extremely rude. Second time i have eat here first time was bad but this time was even worse. Ill never step foot in this resteraunt again.
