This was a spur of the moment stop. Dont let the unoriginal sign scare you away. It is a little bit out of the way, but the food was tasty and the service was excellent. Really, the service was excellent, the server checked on us just often enough. Another nice feature is the outdoor seating area, when the weather is good, it is a pleasant place to sit, even without a true view. If youre looking for someplace unassuming, but with good prices and good service, you should enjoy Old Salem.

The food price and taste were ok BUT the rail liquor and one shot were $8.50 and $7.25! That is more than any place in a 20 mile radius! Also, it is a tiny place where we still had to get up for the check and to pay, so we grossly overtipped.
