My daughter wanted to eat at The diner last week and on the door says checks accepted from local banks, so alls I had on me was a check Bc they dont take cards (hello its 2017, get with it) so I just so happened to ask Vito if I could use my check and he said NO. He was very disrespectful and I will NEVER GO BACK. I have been to this place maybe 5 times and the bathroom is absolutely DISGUSTING (id rather use a porta john) the salad bar is gross, the wait staff leaves you sitting there before they come to even say hello, and last but not least someone I know has gotten very sick the past two times they have eaten there. I am very disappointed in the way this place looks and how he treats his customers. Maybe the Health Department would like to see the looks of this place. I bet they wouldnt be happy.

Kept getting ignored to get seated. When we did get seated and ordered we had to get our own silverware. Asked for napkins never got them. Food was terrible. I ordered baked spaghetti. It tasted like it was out of a can with 3 slices of cheese melted on top. Thats not baked spaghetti. Salad bar was dirty and just about empty. Fiancé asked for corn and comes out with peas. Answer to that was "oh cook changed it and didnt tell us". Dont you think you should find out if the customer wants peas. His country fried steak tasted like it was frozen with canned brown gravy. Oh I asked the waitress how the baked spaghetti was and she said awesome he is Italian best around. I dont think so. Very dirty

LOVE IT!! its a great little family owned restaurant. People come so often the waiters know your drinks and names before you even sit down. Everyone is so friendly and Joe Vito and stephanie are such great people to be around Ive been coming here since I was a baby and its my first choice for French fries! And Im in love with their pizza and salad. Its a seat yourself place but they only accept cash and local checks but its still just a great place with a family environment

Cleaned the Windows at the Louisa county school board office by the middle school, not being familiar with the area this place was the first place we came to, it was hot out so got a cold Ham and cheese sandwich, it was great and the total was under $12 for 2 sandwiches and drinks. Also didnt pay attention or notice that they dont take debit or credit cards, but the owner was nice enough to let me repay later, Ive since mailed a check out, thanks.

I got a Stromboli that was gigantic and decent but not great. My wife got the worst meatloaf that either of us had ever had. It was dry and tasteless with really gross gravy. The prices were great and the service was slow but very friendly. The place was not clean. The walls had weird drip marks on them that looked as if they had been there a while from food. There was a lot of dust on the fixtures.

Best Mom and Pops restaurant in the area! I love their steak a and cheese hot sub with gravy! It is always amazing. They also have New York style pizza! They only take cash but it is so good its worth it. I just go to the ATM next door. The prices are so cheap for the amount of food you get and the quality of it.

Some of the items are great, others you can tell are not fresh (canned or frozen), granted for the prices you dont mind so much. Joe and his brother(s) do a good job with food and doing a very Americanized italian cuisine for the money. They also do Joes place in Louisa.

Absolutely great breakfast. I had the Italian omolette with grits and biscuits. My husband had the special- 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, hash browns, toast & coffee for $5.55. Even though there was a crowd we had our breakfast within 10 minutes.

Just a plain old diner. Its very dark, inside and out, you wouldnt notice it if you didnt know where youre going. The gas station next to it looks nicer than a restaurant. Limited diner options, tea, coffee.

Great prices, good food. I love to have breakfast here, its always packed. They have a huge breakfast menu and the food is always delicious. They do not take debit or credit cards, so bring cash.

Best pizza in town. Youll need to go to Goochland to find comparable flavor and crust (Roccos). Roccos is about 50% more expensive though.
