Great food no lie. Nice place. So theres a lot that went down for my first time here. So 6 of my friends and I walk in, so we wait about 3min to get a table. Never caught any of there names but this one young man takes us to a table that had plates, cup, and recipe from the previous customers that were there before us and the young man literally offered the us the table. Obviously he didnt tell us to sit but to give him a moment. As the young man cleaned off the table one of my friends noticed that there were little black specks (ants) moving on the surface of the table and the young man noticed as well, but thinks that no one was looking and brushes the ants off. We all looked at the table and more ants from underneath the table were climbing up. We told the manager and quickly took us over to sit at the bar. We all still decided to stay even though we saw that. So we get served, got what we wanted from our menus and got our drinks. So skipping through the amazing food. one my friends were half way done with his drink when he realized.. there was a little black speck moving. An ant in his cup. And my friend kept his cool and requested a new cup and heres the eye opener the lady behind the bar claims to be the manager replied "oh thats great" with the most sarcastic tone and takes his cup and slams a cup right in from of him. Reason she got mad was because there was a couple at the end of the bar that heard about the ant in the cup. I kept a close eye on the lady and heard her bad mouthing about all of us just because we were pointing out the ants. Moral of this story is dont get mad just because we said something to you. We could of been jerks and just yell and say how gross the place was but we all kept giving you chances to redeem yourselves. Im not saying to give us free food or anything. Just a simple "Im sorry" would of been enough... Ive never written a review for any restaurant but you guys really made my jaw drop. People please look closely, the walls, the windows, tables and definitely the food. Other than that the food was great.. Im sorry and I hope people read this and dont see me as a person looking for revenge, just a friend looking after people that want to enjoy the food with family and friends.

I went to the Yummy Pig for a late lunch. Was seated immediately and the waitress was quick to bring my soda and take my order. The staff was very pleasant in the restaurant seemed like a nice clean place. The food is a different story. I ordered pulled pork platter with two sides. The pulled pork was very bland, not much flavor at all. All of the sauces seemed like they were watered down and void of flavor. Rather than resting on top of the food the BBQ sauce ran through the meat and pooled around my plate like colored water The differences in flavor between the different types of sauces were barely distinguishable. I tried shaking the bottles thinking the sauce had settled leaving liquid on top but that did not make much of a difference. The coleslaw was also very bland, no sweetness at all. I had to add salt and extra pepper to give it some assemblance of flavor. The best thing on my plate was the mac & cheese, it tasted like homemade although it couldve used a little more cheese. I try to visit and support locally owned restaurants but in this case sorry to say that I will NOT be returning to the Yummy Pig.

On the way home from a movie I stopped for some takeout BBQ. Now I have been eating BBQ since I was a kid in Chicago, so I think I know a thing or two about good BBQ. The owner/Bartender was friendly and made some suggestions for my first time at Yummy Pig. I ordered the Pig Heaven Platter: “Your choice of 2 smoked meats, choice of 2 sides. Served with skillet cornbread or kettle chips”. I choose: Brisket and pulled port, coleslaw and sweet potato fries. To be fare BBQ is best eaten where it’s made/smoked, not takeout, that said the Brisket was over seamed and soggy, the pulled pork was tasty with a good smoked favor, but on the dry side. The fries were of course not hot but they were limp and over seasoned. Both the coleslaw and corn bread were very good, they both tasted freshly made. I will give them another opportunity. This time I’ll have a seat and see if the BQQ and eating in experience is better. The takeout was disappointing, but I think they could do better.

Amazing beer selection and great customer service. My first time I was there I placed an order to go at the bar. Spoke with the owners a bit and had a beer. He actually initiated letting me taste a few of the rotating brews he thought I would enjoy based on my tastes. And he was right: Victory HopBranch was the brew that made me seek it out elsewhere, turns out its hard to find! He was a genuine restauranteur with a cheery disposition and proud of his establishment. And he should be, food was amazing. I havent had fries like that before or since, so crisp and light. The 2-item take out did take a very long time, but i actually didnt mind since I was having a good time and had the time to spare! Next time Ill order ahead. Been back 3 times since, similarly great experience each time.

My husband and I ordered the pulled pork sandwiches with slaw as a side (carry-out). I liked the bourbon bbq sauce (I believe thats what its called) and the tenderness of the meat, however I had to add salt and pepper as it lacked that traditional seasoned array of flavors. I can live with that. What really grinded my gears was the DRY, discolored, flavorless shredded cabbage that they attempted to pass off as coleslaw! How do you mess up coleslaw? My husband stopped me from returning the remainder of our meals and demanding a refund! I love supporting local businesses and Ive been anxious to try this place. I was seriously disappointed.

Have been there (this is Mark, by the way) five times since the opening. Ive eaten at most all of the other BBQ places from Leesburg to Reston, and this is the best place hands down. Consistently great. Our server today was Malcom and he was the definition of friendly, professional, and informative. Quality guy, quality restaurant. Ive read some Yelp reviews in which some of these people complain about one aspect or another of their meal. These people must complain as a way of life, because everything here is great- every time.

YummyPig has some of the BEST BBQ in town... Ive gone several times and have been amazed each time. Not only is their meat amazing but so are their sides. Here are items from the menu that are worth a try: Beef Brisket, Braised Rib Tips, Sweet Potato Au Gratin, Baby Spinach w/ Quinoa, and smoked brisket empanadas. The food is SOOO good, not to mention the service is personalized and wonderful... they also have some delicious side sauces to add to your BBQ so you can get as saucy as you want with it!
