We had a party of 16, including 9 children, at this location tonight. We had to wait for a table (totally understandable), and were seated at 7 p.m. We had two waitresses assigned to us, and they were prompt with our drink orders. We ordered our entrees at 7:15, and our appetizers, soups and salads arrived in a fairly reasonable time. Then we waited...and waited...and waited. During that time, our waitresses did stop by to check on us, and apologized for the wait. Meanwhile, several other tables were seated, ate, and left. Still, no food, not even for the children. One hour passed. The manager apologized and said there were problems in the kitchen this evening, and that they were also out of the salmon ordered by one member of our party. We learned shortly after that that the manager had to step behind the line himself and cook. Two hours after we ordered, a brigade of wonderful and cheerful servers delivered our food, which was delicious. Time for the check. The salmon had been taken off the bill and replaced with the tilapia. Other than that, we were not offered any form of compensation whatsoever. One member of our party made it very clear that that was not acceptable, and the manager comped the entire meal. We gladly tipped our servers, as this was definitely out of their control. The only reason I am giving this two stars and not one is because the food was quite tasty and the servers were very nice. Would I go back? Yes, but with a group of four at most.

The best dining experience in Harrisonburg! My wife and I went there Friday evening, we did not have reservation so they told 1 hour waiting... My wife was mad at me for not making reservation, but we have diceded to wait. The actual wait time was 40 min, but the food and service we received was worth waiting! We will start with our server Delaney. Outstanding 5star service better than in some expensive restaurants I have been. Unfortunately steak that Ihave ordered was not fixed wright. Immediately our server apologized and called manager. Manager Zac first congratulated us on our anniversary and then took care of my steak. He brought me my steak himself and it was the best steak I have had in a long time in italian restaurant. Zac and Delaney treated us as king and a queen all evening. We did not want to leave that place and will definitely come back again in a near future!!! If could give 10 stars I would!!!

Besides a 50+ minute wait, we were met with a salad with no tongs for serving, we used two forks in their place, then a second salad with no tongs and no dressing. The salad plates were minimally washed and in fact one had to be returned with visible salad dressing still on it and swapped for new one that was not much different. Note to management, : Might want to change the water when youre running that volume. The appetizers and main courses were microwaved, making them either under or overcooked, in this case both. The pasta on the shrimp scampi was hard as a brick, all around and within an inch around the diameter of the entire dish. The server was nice enough as she was well acquainted with all of these issues which indicates to me that it is fairly normal. So much so that their customers have come to accept it as well! Marked this one as a never again, unless we need a breadstick!

We were seated pretty fast when we arrived. There were 6 hostesses gossiping at the entry. We waited 10 minutes to be greater by a server and have our drink order taken. We all ordered the soup, salad, and bread stick lunch and the salad and bread sticks came out relatively quickly it took some time for the soup to arrive. Then we waited... no refills for even drinks.... 15 minutes later she came to ask if all was ok. We had to ask if we could get our salad and bread sticks refilled... then we waited... 10 minutes later the salad and bread sticks came and we had to ask for more soup...then we waited ten more minutes... the soup order was wrong, at that point we just wanted to go home. A manager did come to speak with us and he was very nice but we just wanted our check and to leave. I dont want free food (as I wont be coming back) and there isnt anything to do to make it better.

Surprisingly cozy inside. This restaurant has a decent bar with a tv. Nice decoration with a modern feel. The food is still the same, some new items on the menu. The Zuppa Tuscana is pretty good, with a bit of spiciness to it. Shrimp Scampi is a bit too salty for me. May be with wine it would be balanced out? In all, this restaurant just opened about 2 months ago and it feels more upscale than the older Olive Garden restaurants in other places. The wait staff is attentive. The hostesses did not bid us a good night even though it wasnt busy. We usually hear something from the hostesses as we leave at other Olive Gardens. Oh well.

This is a brand new Olive Garden in Harrisonburg, VA. Weve had great service every time weve gone so far and Ive had the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara twice (see picture). It was wonderful. The Fiery Alfredo sauce is good too! Would recommend however, the wait times are long since it is new and located right off the interstate. The parking and roads to get in to Olive Garden are horrendous! The entire intersection needs to be redone. Other than that, its really good.

We surprised my son for his 18th Birthday. It was a bit of a wait for our party of 15. It will be great if this location offers wait list soon. Christopher and Jessica came through for us though and we received excellent service. They turned a stressful situation into a pleasant dining experience. Thanks for taking great care of my family!

We were rushed through the meal. The breadsticks were way to salty, as was the food. The salad had hardly any dressing. They are known for the dressing and breadsticks so it was disappointing. I have been in quite a few olive gardens and this one was was terrible. Also, we were lucky to get a refill on our drinks. Wont be back to this one.

The service was spot on when we arrived but quickly dropped off. Our servers were accommodating and pleasant but we had to ask multiple times for items we needed or to get water, drink refills. The food was slow to be served we arrived at 545 and finished and exited at 800. We sat waiting for food but it was good when it arrived.

Ive been here twice and both times my food was not very good. The second time I actually returned it to the kitchen. Ive enjoyed OG in the past so not sure what the problem is. I asked about a dry wine and after trying three samples I realized they didnt know what dry wine is, evidently. Service was super both times.

Half off wine and beer while you wait. The bar tenders were awesome! The wait was about 30 minutes but totally worth it. Had 3 glasses of wine and a tall draft plus a tip for 17$ made it to our table and the service was great. The food was even better. Will definitely be coming back to this location.
