If I was able to leave a worse rating i would. I just had lunch at the Harrisonburg Bdubs. It is 10/6/2016 1:50PM. I have never had worse service in a restaurant than this. The bartender Anna was slammed.She was unable to assist all of her guests at the same time. She had a full bar and a 3 table section and did a pretty good job of keeping everyone satisfied at first but as more people came in her service got worse (which is not her fault). This review is in no way a reflection of her. When she had the time to come to assist us she was very attentive and got everything right, the problem was that she was overwhelmed and had no help. This is where I am absolutely shocked. The management staff was offering her no assistance at all either. My friend and I both worked in the industry previously and we both know when the bartender is that slammed, a manager needs to jump in and help. There were two of them standing together watching her struggle. Teamwork makes the dream work, and it appears they were on another team. She was clearly doing everything to the best of her ability and instead of helping her they took her to the kitchen and when she came back she was clearly upset (a manager probably told her she was doing a bad job). The poor placement and recognition of managers caused a good bartender to crash and burn today. A good staff can be ruined by bad management, unfortunately it looks like this place has some bad managers.

The service is below average; the servers take their time getting to your table while in the restaurant. It is clear, however, that it is not merely the servers that are sub-par. On multiple occasions I have had issues with ordering out; the first of which consisted of being told "15 minutes" for wait time, and ending up standing for 45 minutes, after the 15 minute wait time was over, waiting for my wings to be finished only to be told they hadnt been started yet at this point. There was no reimbursement or indication that I should go back here again, but I decided to give them a second chance. However, this second chance proved to be just as futile; two orders of different flavored wings, picked them up and checked to make sure the boxes were in the bag and was pleased with how quickly I received my food (granted, there were only a handful of people in the restaurant). I arrived home to find that they had filled the two boxes with the same order and just put different stickers on the lids. I had to drive back to the Buffalo Wild Wings and ask to have the wings that I ordered, during which time they took back the mistakenly made wings - ideally, not to feed them to other customers... All in all, not a good place to eat for the price you pay for the food and lack of service.

Dining in is fine, let me talk about their to go orders. I order here once a week, typically on a Sunday evening. You literally have to check your order EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Today was no different, so I finally decided to write a review. Over the phone I ordered a large boneless wing extra wet, honey BBQ. Pretty easy, nothing complicate. I came in and my order was handed to me, I peeked in and saw my wings werent honey BBQ but instead buffalo. I told the girl who took my order and she embarrassingly apologized and took it back to the kitchen. 5 minutes later I finally get the right order, only to come home and see that its not extra wet with sauce, which is the only way I order them, but almost no sauce on them at all. If this happened once, or twice, or even three times I wouldnt even write this review. Im not that type of person and I understand businesses make mistakes, we all do. But here at your local Bdubs you have to babysit them every single time you place a simple to go order. Ive come home with wrong sauces on my wings, orders not having things I requested, and once I was even charged EXTRA for ranch which once I came home and opened the bag...wasnt even there. Management, please have a training day for your to go orders, your staff is embarrassing itself.

Maybe we picked a bad day, but our waitress was slow and terrible; the place was a mess, tables left unclean and chair askew.... the food was horrible; my potato wedges were so greasy, the paper was soaked, and we ordered the pulled pork with the sauce on the side and it had to be the worst thing I ever tasted; honestly reminded me of something youd clean your bathroom with. The waitress dropped off our ticket, and knowing she wasnt coming back for a half hour, I went to the register myself; and the man took my gift card with annoyance and went into the kitchen with it, obviously not knowing how to run the register. Its a shame, I know good people that work there, but our experience thoroughly sucked.

So Ive gone in 3 times and after todays service, I can say this is my last visit. Im sitting at a high top in the bar at the moment as I type this and my wife and I order drinks and food from the employee and that was the last time Ive seen him. Someone else brings us our food and when I wanted another beer, I got up and went to the bar myself to get it. If I can stay at home and get up to go to the fridge to get a beer thats a lot cheeper, whats the point of coming here?!? The service is poor and that is a reflection of the management. They need to clean house and Im not going back until that happens... until then Ill stay home and order a pizza when I want to watch the game.

This is the second time I have been in this place and have come out disappointed both times. It is dirty and boring. Both times I have gone my orders have been wrong and not corrected in a timely manner. Also they have probably the most disgusting bathrooms ibhave seen in a while....yes it is a college town but, thats ridiculous. There food is terrible as well...mcdonalds quality at the most. I would not refer any one to for here...just awful. Ni were near all the hype. Yuck.

Love this place! So happy you moved to the University location!! Food is phenomenal, service is great, and the staff is amazing!! We must give a shout-out to one of our favorite servers too... Will, hes awesome!! Always happy to see us, has great personality, and always treats us like were his favorite family! Hes even given us reviews of new menu items to try! Just a FYI for all parents, kids menu $1.99 night is MONDAY nights at this particular location, not Wednesday night like the national advertisement states. The manager gave us 2 gift certificates for kids meals to make up for the confusion, but his response did not make sense to me. He stated for the past 10 years kids night was monday night there, but they do all of their advertising by "piggybacking" national advertising, which btw states that kids night is Wednesdays!
