CREDIT CARD OVERCHARGED! READ! Just as other reviews have said, DONT leave your card with the bartender. They are thieves. Ive been here a handful of times. I try to never go to a bar without cash. 1) I dont like someone else holding onto my card and having all the info. 2) I dont like it some random person at the bar can hear me use my name, then ask for a drink under my name when I walk away. Sadly, for the first time in 4 years I didnt have cash. I bought 3 $14 drinks. Total of $42. I checked my card the next day and I was charged $42.00 and another $56.99. Long story short, Ive called 4 times. 1st. Manager will call back. 2nd. Manager said my card was charged for someone elses tab (hints the $56.99.) $56.99 was finally taken off, but so was the $42.00. Now its charged $50. 3rd call. Manager argued and said, "I have your signed receipt so theres nothing you can do." Then realized he was wrong and that I signed a $42 receipt, not a $50! Said wait until weekend is over to see if it goes back. 4th. Called after weekend and same manager said he fixed it with his bank and it should be $42 by tomorrow. Week later, still $50 charge. Dispute filed with credit card company, luckily. Wonder how many other cards were "accidentally" charged and went unnoticed. Going by other reviews. Doesnt look like Im the only one with an overcharge! Guarantee I will never be returning and neither will everyone Im telling that I was with. Which, FYI, I was with the entire Hooters party of Hampton Roads that rented the club the majority of the night. Hope this "try" on an overcharge was worth it.

Ive been here a few times. It can be fun when you come with a group, but the last visit will likely be my last due to the DJ and music. He would constantly change songs. I didnt enjoy one complete song with my friends. If thats not bad enough, he made a stupid little comment into the mike every ten to fifteen seconds, interrupting the music in the process. Other people in the bar had similar qualms, and after talking to three employees I found I was not alone recognizing the issue. I attempted to talk to the manager but he wouldnt give the time of day. Bottom line - Ive had great times dancing at pbr in the past, but my friends and I left early due to the terrible DJ that ruined every 45 second segment of a song he played.

This place, 1st bartenders are slow, took 20 minutes to get just a beer after he asked what I wanted, the dude was too busy trying to flirt and look cool in front of the girls. After finally getting a drink I had too pee. Couldnt bring the drink in the bathroom. DJs start Playing a good song and then stop. They either start talking or start playing a different song. Dont start playing a good song and get the crowd into it and all of a sudden switch to a different song or nothing. Let it play. A bouncer sat there and watched me light a cigarette on the patio and then told me to put it out because the patio was closing. Why did he wait for me to light it? Stupid asses. I cannot recommend to anyone anymore.

Place is terrible,food was good, drinks were priced ok. To attach PBR to this bar is absurd. I was told by bar tenders that Taylor Swifts shake it off was country music. I was there for about 3 hours and it was straight garbage music for hours all fast no slow song what so ever. PBR needs to remove their name from this bar. I know the PBR would no want their name attached to a bar that no real country is played in the bar at all. Every song that was played was a line dance. Im sorry when you line dance to GNR sweet child of mine there is a problem. I will DJ for free to play better music in there.

If youre planning a night out or to watch a a main sporting event....DO NOT GO HERE! This money hungry establishment charge $20 cover charge (nothing included but trying find a place stand without getting runover by a waitress thats for tables ONLY). To top things off most tables had only 1 to 3 people max per table or booth or completely empty. Management choose the remove tables from the normal dining area and also NOT offer any shot girls or floaters to help serve their standing guest. In closing DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTE YOUR NIGHT OUT because of bad service.

This place is awesome! Not one complaint! Not only is the DJ great and the atmosphere fun but the staff is great as well. Drinks are priced fairly. Staff is very friendly including the awesome bathroom attendant and security. The bartenders are amazing! They remember your order no matter how many customers they have and they are fast and friendly..You have to ride the bull when you come! They play a great mix of music, mostly country but a little bit of everything! The place to be in Hampton Roads!

It has a good atmosphere overlooking the water in the back, which is a very large area. The bartender worked hard to fill our drink orders. But the real problem was waiting 2 hours for 2 hamburgers before a concert. The place had an average crowd but they clearly could not handle food and drink orders. If they could fulfill simple food orders than this place would merit a better review.

Great place to have a beer or two! A bit pricey tho. It looks like a barn, they even have a mechanic bull that you can ride if you feel like it. The price is a bit high but totally worth it! The waiters show a little buns and dance around. Also a lot of people show up so it is definitely a change from Norfolk area bars. They even have pool tables and a smoking patio.

This is the only place I go i use to go to the alley but about a year ago I tried this place and havent been back to the alley this place has great food and drinks West and Rachel are my go to bartenders its a mixed crowd which I love and there is no smoking in door so its a real plus for me Fridays and Saturdays are my nights !!

Always have a great time at PBR. Theres a great mix of music and the place is large enough so that you dont feel cramped. The guys operating the bull are always friendly and often times pass cowboy hats and gloves to you when they want to make it more flashy. Ill definitely keep going back.

We were here for a CHKD charity event and they ran out of chicken, four different local craft beers, and couldnt even play the electric slide for a line dance. Did we surprise them with the charity event? Dance floor was sticky and drink pours light. The band TAPPS was fantastic!!!!

I agree. The servers think they are "hot stuff" and treat the customers rude. The DJ said that he wasnt going to play a song I requested because he "didnt care". I had never experienced such rude staff. Will NOT be going back. Get rid of that DJ, bad business.
