Do NOT be fooled by the modest interior and exterior. This is a "Dont judge a book by its cover" type of places. I was introduced to this place by a friend while I went to MWC right across the street. This place quickly became my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. The place has a very cozy feel and it hasnt be redecorated in about 30 years which adds to the charm. Dont let the age fool you, it is super clean and well maintained inside. It is a family owned restaurant and they will quickly learn their regulars and they are always friendly. Their gyros are out of control good and you will quickly forget that delivery pizza even existed. Their pizza is hands down the best you will get in the area and is still in my top 5 favorite pizza places ever. I basically havent ever had anything bad on the menu, and Ive probably tried almost all of it. Their baklava is great as well. There is a reason why this place has been there forever, try it out and you will understand!

We have been going to the Parthenon for the 32 plus years they have been open. Manny Psaris is probably one of the best Italian style cooks in the area. He also makes some great Greek dishes as well. It is a wonderful place to go in the afternoon when the crowds are not there. It is a family operation which adds just a little more warmth and good service.

I had a great experience here. The woman who owns it treats you like family from the second you walk in. You will feel like you are visiting distant relatives in Greece. I got the gyro platter, which was great and my family enjoyed everything they ordered as well. Its worth a try!

A Mom and Pop shop for sure. Really just a little whole in the wall, but arent those typically the best. The Parthenon certainly is. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Now that we found this little treasure we plan to return very soon and very often!

Im sorry but, I went here based on the rating...this was not a good Greek food experience...I spent $50.00 for lunch for two adults and one kids meal. The food was mediocre, service was nice but really thats about it...I was very disappointed.

Nice family establishment. Service may be a bit slow, and the dining room is cramped and tiny. However the food is great. Portions are not too big. Food is definatly authentic!!!
