This is only the second time Ive been to this location, the other Fredericksburg Location has been great. Today, we arrived around 3pm (Sunday) to find an empty store with (4) teenage employees. My wife placed an order for (2) subs, no meals. 28 minutes later, the (2) subs were ready for pick-up. Im not kidding; my wife read the entire news paper waiting by the counter as (4) teenagers put (2) subs together. I was in the car with the kids and assumed there was a long line. She was the only customer. When she came out to the car, one of the orders was incorrect. Upon returning to the store where still no customers were, she explained the mistake and had to request a new sandwich. The request was not received in a pleasant manner, but the kids corrected the order. Upon arriving home, her veggie sub was soggy to the point of being almost unable to be eaten. Paying almost $20 for only (2) subs, poor service and poorly prepared food pretty much guarantees we wont be returning to this location and will be hesitant to return to any Firehouse Sub. I actually am rating a (3) instead of lower simply because the other location has been so good and we didnt have anything like this happen before.

my son bought me a sub from here--was i ever suprised! ive had subs from several places, but being new in area, not heard of this sub shop. Was i in for a suprise! Very, very good italian sub, one of the best ive ever had. Not a big fan of subs, or italian--but this was way beyond my expectations! Ordered 5 more for other family members the very next day. (-: Did i mention i was very suprised by how good they were...lol

I went in after working a long late day, ordered a plain steak and cheese to go, my co worker ordered after me, there was no line,it took them 40 minutes to give us our food... I dont know about my coworker but they didnt put cheese on my sandwich and for kicks they added pepper and onions, this was by far the worst firehouse subs ever... I hope someone reads these!!!

Ate here the other day and the young man working the counter couldnt have been kinder. It had been a while since I had enjoyed a sub from here but I got the brisket cheddar and it was phenominal. The tea was also a nice change and reminded me of a sun tea that was homemade. Great experience that will have me choosing less Subway and more Firehouse Subs :)

The food was pretty good. Service was mediocre. There were probably only 4 people working in the restaurant when I went, so pretty heavily understaffed. Regardless, they had my food done in about 5-7 minutes. The salad was delicious.

All I ordered was a plain turkey sub. I asked for just turkey and bread but they could manage that and wouldnt remake my sandwich. Wont be coming back here again.

A little more pricey than subway but worth every bit in my opinion. Love the choices for sandwiches here and they have a good selection of kettle chips as well.
