I used to enjoy coming to this restaurant until today, and I will never go back. It started like any other visit the waitress gave us our menus then left to get water. When we were ready to order my wife ordered first she asked about the pancakes that came with the Peking duck, the waitress an older Asian lady gave my wife a look of disgust and talked to her like she was some kind of moron for not understanding. We also ordered the fried rice upon eating it I found what I believe to be a roach leg. After we finished our meal (no longer eating the fried rice) the waitress gave us the check. The meal was around 48$ we left a 4$ tip due to how we were treated when we ordered. After we paid the waitress came and took the money to the register we got up to leave. The waitress then chaised after us speaking in Vietnamese to my wife and my mother in-law. She said that you have to leave a 15% tip. After my wife told me what she said to them I asked where this was written on the door on the wall in the menu why was there no mention of it. We had a group of 4 I understand some restaurants charge gratuity for large groups of 6+ but we only had 4 people. After we were berated and yelled at to get 15% we gave them a well deserved 15% tip. We will never go here again, I have never been treated like this not have I ever seen this before.

Ive been coming here for years. I have to agree with some of the other reviews. Carry out here is not as good as dine in. I think the dishes I love just dont do well to go. Its best to go for the non mainstream Chinese dishes here. Some of my favorites include cuttle fish, duck blood with ginger and scallions, spicy salt and pepper shrimp or seafood, Chinese watercress with garlic, and beef with sour cabbage. Their noodle soup and noodle stir fries are good as well.

Been going here about once a month for a few years. Until the day: Went here about 4 months ago with some coworkers for lunch. A rat ran across the floor and across our feet. Noticing what had just happened, and noticing that we saw it, the waitress caught our eyes, stuck her finger up to her mouth, and motioned shhh. Not wanting to make a scene we finished eating and left. Not going back again, and wish they would have had some health inspections.

Worst place ever! I ordered a to-go meal and asked them for an extra box just for my kids to share, then was told they dont offer any extra boxes. Later they said "as a special service just for you we will give you a box". A special service for a 2-cent foam plastic box? What a joke. Also when I left I saw a roach crawling on the tank at the entry area. Threw away the order and will never ever go there again.

Unlike many Chinese restaurants, when you order the poultry entrees, you get actual pieces of chicken. Most places seem to serve breading or sauce with snipers of chicken. Not this place, they give you pieces of chicken that are large are properly cooked (tender and juicy). I strongly recommend this place if you want chicken with orange/sesame/Szechuan sauce and not the other way around.

Im new to the area and was checking google for some cheap but good eats. This place is MUST. The service was spectacular for a Chinese restaurant, reserved but very attentive. And the food was great. It is a must for Duck, Pork, and Hong Kong style wontons. Definitely a great place to know when your in the mood for well priced and delicious Chinese food with a Hong Kong style.

I USED TO liked this place. When they were a smaller restaurant with good service. Since they expanded and NOT add any staffs, their services become very poor. They tried to fast track all their food as a result, become poor in the process. I hope that they will improve. They lost my business, along with my family for 6 months

I was a long time customer...the food is great but they steal food from you, like Chinese restaurants in nyc. When you order duck becareful. They take pieces put of your order and put it aside for them to eat or to serve to other customers. Food quality is good but they will steal from you.

Ive heard from my buddies that the food was good, but the service was horrible. The waiter misunderstood that we wanted to carry out, sat us down and served us tea. When we told him again that we were going to carry out he gave us an attitude the rest of the time we were in the restaurant.

Ive been going to these guys for awhile. They used to be really good. Now they are cutting corners everywhere. The quality of their food has gone way down. For example this is the third time Ive ordered wanton soup and its been just noodles and broth. No meat, nothing.

i like the "salty spicy" selection, including shrimp, scallop, squid or even the soft shell crab (yum). i think these guys have the best chicken pan fried noodles in the area, too.

Great place! Some servers are usually cold but thats normal in most Chinese places. The food is great, good portions and lots of flavor. My favorite Chinese place in the DMV.

Great food. The original restaurant was in DC chinatown. I have been going to this place for 15 yrs now. I still recognize some of the servers...really good food.

Since a years I noticed they must have lost a good cook (more salt less flavor). The duck on rice was still tasty until one of the managers turned me off. May2016

Roast duck is great, not too fatty skin, just right. Kung pao beef is okay, little too sticky sauce but taste good with extra spicy. Definitely will go back again.

Best value for chinese food in the area. Definitely a step up from the usual carry out only, yet not priced out of existence by the popularity bug.

My favorite Chinese eatery in NoVa. The menu looks similar to all the others, but the taste is a cut above.

Food came out fast, little flavor but one waitress was a little pushy in trying to get us to order food.
