Oh my god! I cant even tell you how bad their customer service is! Extremely rude and unprofessional. I came to the restaurant to found out if they will deliver to my address. The lady on a reception typed my address in her phone to check the map, and said that its 5.2 miles which is 0.2 miles over their delivery limit but they can do it anyway with no problems. Week later i ordered sushi from them and they delivered without questions asked. Today , i called to place an order, they put me on hold and when came back said they mot delivering to my area because its over 7 miles from them. I was so surprised. First of all its not 7 miles, its 5.2, second, they confirmed that they will deliver when i came to the restaurant, and lastly , they already delivered to me before!!!! So why they want do it now? The girl on the phone was extremely rude and started to argue with me. When i asked why you came before and saying you re not delivering to my address now? She did not have an answer , just kept saying "its more than 5 miles". After i requested numerous times to speak with manager, i finally heard another womans voice. Now, this was the women who i spoke with when i came in, and she was the one who already delivered order to my address before! In fact, she even remembers me and my address! Guess what i heard??!! She said that they will not come because they are busy right now, and there may be traffic, the time is not good for them to come right now!!! Are you kidding me? What kind of restaurant can say this to their client???? If you are offering service , you cant pick if you want to perform it or not! Than just dont offer delivery at all if you are unable to keep up! She was yelling at me, no any excuses! I am totally shocked! First time i deal with such unprofessional place!!! Zeroooo stars!!!!!

The atmosphere and decor of this restaurant is stunning for a somewhat small room, modern and highlighted by jazz music. Contrary to another reviewer, I had the salmon nigiri and it was delicious and fresh, with no "fishy" taste. Maybe he came on a bad night, since I have talked to others who have gone to this restaurant and thought everything was top rate. I havent been to many sushi restaurants outside of Japan so I possibly dont have the best picture of whats out there, but this was my favorite so far in the area. The service was also especially good, friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant out for yourself. The only complaint I have is that they put chocolate syrup on the desserts, which ruined the mochi (a favorite of mine) and adzuki bean ice cream, I think trying to "Americanize" the taste. Overall, good stuff!

Worst customer service i ever received! Tried to ordered sushi for delivery. They said they cant deliver because they are busy at the moment and its a rush hour traffic. Person on the phone was unprofessional and rude. I never heard such a response from the restaurant who offer delivery service. I understand the delivery may take longer because of traffic (if any) , but to refuse to do delivery completely, its ridiculous! No business can survive with such unprofessional service. They may have good sushi, but they need to learn how to take care of the clients and always perform service they are offering, no matter how busy they are!!!

I was really surprised to have such a top-notch place in our area. Its new and very unassuming on the outside so I was skeptical having not read/heard anything about it. The decor rivals some chic downtown joints and the chefs are really top-shelf. Im not sure where they came from but they made us feel very welcome and we were VERY well fed, especially for the price. CONS: wait staff were a little clumsy and interrupted a bit too much. Im sure that will improve as they gain experience in the new restaurant! Grab a workout at Golds and head to the Sushi Bar!

Excellent sushi and great service. I came here last night for a wonderful dinner. My friend and I ordered 6 different rolls. I loved the spicy tuna roll as it was delicious and good bang for the buck. The sushi came with a soup and salad which was nice. My water was refilled so often I couldnt keep track of how much I was drinking. I recommend coming here for a nice sushi dinner. Prices were average for a sushi place. The fish meat was fresh and good quality.

I had a nice experience there. One of the things I enjoyed best was that they do their best to maintain the authentic Japanese culinary culture. Having been to Japan and tasting numerous of their traditional foods, I find that Sushi Jin has done their best at replicating that style of cooking but slightly altered it to appeal to the American audiences. A few dishes I would recommend here is the Miso Ramen, fried gyoza, and steak. Enjoy. :)

This is a new restaurant in Burke. The service is great and overall the food is good. I was a little disappointed with the salmon nigiri because it had a slight fishy taste. I have only been to three other sushi restaurants, all of which had good salmon nigiri (I usually consider this a safe bet due to its popularity). Everything else was outstanding, so I would definately give this restaurant another shot.

Sushi Jin is by far me and my wifes favorite Sushi restaurant. Good yellowtail, good spicy rolls (with a little tempura), good avocado. Part of what makes Sushi Jin particularly good is the fact that even their basic rolls are made well and taste good (many sushi restaurants seem to skimp on the basic rolls and only focus on making the $12-$15 rolls good). I cant recommend it enough.

This is by far the best sushi in the area. It is extremely fresh and the presentation makes this place the whole package. You will not be disappointed on any of their dishes and I have tried them all. I have never done that at other restaurants because I am a picky eater. The angel hair roll is to die for!

Nice decor, friendly service. We had the miso soup, steamed gyoza, and small house salad for appetizers. The crunch roll that ordered was really good. My daughter got the seafood bento box and it was really hearty (California roll, rice, gyoza, vegetable tempura, shrimp salad). She really enjoyed it.

Sushi was fresh and delicious. Ginger dressing on the house salad was above par also. Best ginger dressing Ive ever had to tell you the truth. Owner was talking to my son and was very hospitable while we were at the sushi bar after a long soccer game. I would highly recommend you try this place!

Fantastic food, friendly and attentive service. The place was relatively empty, so they let us try a couple experimental/work in progress menu items on the house. Ill definitely eat there again, and would recommend to others.

One of our favorite Mom & Pop restaurants in Burke. The Sushi is fresh and they have some unique fusion options. If you havent tried it, definitely check out the Japanese Lasagna.
