The food at this place is absolutely delicious. The service is incredible as well. We came with a toddler when the place was full, but the hostess took my phone number so we could take a walk while we waited for our table to prevent my son from getting restless. They also refilled our drinks promptly, food came out quickly, and they brought our check right away when asked, despite the place being maxed out with customers. We got ramen, sushi, sweet potato fries, edamame, dumplings, and pork buns ... literally every single thing was incredible tasting. I also appreciate that the place looks clean and well-kept. Definitely cant wait to go back!

Tadashi is my favorite restaurant in State College. The sushi is great and the ramen is delicious, and I really dont think you can do better for $10-12. The few appetizers Ive tried, like the steamed pork buns and the seaweed salad, have also been amazing. Though to be honest, Im hooked on the ramen, so I havent branched out too much. Note that they only take cash for orders under $20 and you can get takeout (but not for ramen). Also, they will only seat you if your entire party is present.

So so food, horrible service. They only serve Asian customers well. Otherwise, they hover over you trying to usher you out of the place. Very rude. They also make a big stink about not seating you until your whole party is with you, even when you tell the hostess that the others are just a few minutes away. Its a shame this is the only ramen shop in State College. I gave this place a chance several times, but now I shall not be returning.

$20以上でないとクレジットカードが使えないらしい。日本食レストランと書いてあるが、日本食風のレストランだと思った方がよい。味はおいしいが、日本食が恋しいからここに来たとしても、恋煩いは解消されないと思う。

The ramen from this restaurant is not good at all. From all of the Japanese restaurants Ive been to so far (I used to live in CA and it had so many good Japanese restaurants; Ive been to Japan before as well before) , this one is clearly not a real Japanese restaurant, and the prices are really high. They are really just trying to target customers who are not Japanese.... I dont see any one from Japan will like the foods.

This is my favorite restaurant in State College. The atmosphere is very authentic as well as their amazing food. I usually get Harata buns and the spicy ramen soup. The staff are very friendly and even watched my BYOB drinks and called me on my phone when my table was ready. Very efficient and professional. Did I forget to mention its BYOB. making the cost very reasonable and great pre-game spot for downtown.

Food is amazing! Could have fountain drinks but not a huge deal. The ramen is delicious. The sushi even better. It is a small restaurant so dont expect to just walk in unless you are around for the summer or when school is not in session. But they are great at speedy and efficient service its just that busy and that in itself says a lot

The ramen. Let me say it again: THE RAMEN! It is out of this world. The sushi rolls are fine too (about as good as you can get in State College), but the ramen is the best Ive had in this country. The atmosphere is really cool too but expect to wait if you show up around lunch. $20 card minimum, BYOB.

Best sushi in town, hands down. BYOB. The rolls and ramen are out of this world. The ramen broth is cooked for over 24 hrs to give the umami taste a whole new dimension. The rolls are made with fresh indigents and made to order. Remember to take cash for purchases below $20 and they dont take Amex.

Anywhere but State College and this place is a 4-star, tops. But there is no place in town that dares to even rival the quality of sushi here. Youd have to drive 3 hours west, east or south in order to get something better. Couldnt be happier that this place exists and seems to be thriving.

I tried my first real ramen at Tadashi. I love the soy sauce ramen and spicy miso ramen. The sushi here is also delicious. Service is reasonably fast, and usually it doesnt take terribly long to get a seat. The atmosphere is also cozy. One of my favorite places in town.

Absolutely delicious and very authentic! I love that this is a Japanese restaurant that specializes in Japanese food, not a sushi restaurant that serves all varieties of Asian food. The pepper tuna and the sashimi roll were amazing, I also really enjoyed the seaweed salad.

Decent place for college students whose craving for some sushi or ramen. I ordered gyozas, salmon roll sushi and the soy ramen. You can ask for more meat or noodles but it will cost you extra. Service here is good and very polite. The food comes out pretty fast as well.

This place is small and right downtown, so the wait can be pretty intense, but theres nothing like it for authentic Japanese. Sushi is on par with anything youd find at the best places around town, but the noodles and other traditional dishes are really good.

Best sushi in town hands down, although that really isnt saying much. Most of the other dishes and especially the Ramen are delicious. Service is usually relatively responsive, likely because its a small place. $20 minimum for credit cards is very annoying.

Was blown away by the quality of the ingredients after a friend took me here. Sushi is top-notch, especially for a small town like this, and lots of veggies options. Looking forward to going back and trying other things on the menu. Can get pricey though.

Although they write at the menu that they have chicken ramen, they wont service it!! So this restaurant wont be a good option for those who cannot eat pork. Also, you have to pay 0.5 Cent for hot sauce when you ordered your food for about $20!!!!

Hands down best place for sushi in town. Real city feels. They dont take reservations, however, when you arrive they take your number and call you when your table is ready, so you can go grab a drink somewhere while waiting.

May seem expensive to pay $10+ for a bowl of ramen, but the price is on point for good ramen with housemade broth. The lunch specials are great for the quality. Minus one star because Im not really a fan of the appetizers.

I had several excellent meals here. The spicy miso ramen is very good, as are the various yakitori offerings. Relaxed atmosphere, but tends to be crowded and noisy - a testament to how good it is.

Best sushi you will find in State College, and reasonably priced. Very small dining area, and busy every time Ive gone. Staff are quick to take your order and bring your food. BYOB permitted!

Amazing traditional Japanese food. Never liked sushi until I tried it here. I cannot stress how delicious the food is here. Fast service and reasonable prices are just icing on the cake.

As far as sushi goes in centre county, this is probably your best bet. Thats not really saying much, but the atmosphere is great and its been a great first date spot on several occasions.

Best sushi in state college by far, but can be a little on the pricey side. I LOVE the pepper tuna roll. Not interested in sushi? You NEED to try the homemade ramen. Delicious!

Hands down the absolute best Japanese food in State College, everything Ive gotten has ranged from great to amazing. I heavily recommend the spicy tuna roll and any ramen!
