Just had a horrible experience at this restaurant! Do they not understand the concept of customer service? My husband and I came to eat here with my in-laws for a celebration dinner, and we called ahead to make a reservation for 5. Because our reservation was together, they refused to let both parties use a groupon. They even tried to force us to sit at separate tables just to make a point that we couldnt be a reservation of 5 with two separate checks and use two groupons. I asked him if he wanted to separate our family just to make a point and he said "yes, making the point is more important to us." I cannot comment on the food as we never got a chance to sample it, but considering how dismal the customer service was, I am glad we didnt have to suffer through a crappy meal. The reviews seem to be bad all around, so save yourself the trouble and go to Benihanas or Otanis! I fully intend to reach out to groupon and have this business removed from their service. If they cant afford the profit margins they make using groupon, then dont offer a groupon.

There are two sides to this restaurant: Sushi and Teppanyaki. The Sushi side is empty for a reason... The fish is old, discolored, and smells/tastes fishy. They have a Mon-Sat lunch sushi buffet, and our Friday night dinner tasted like the leftovers from lunch. The service was mediocre to match. The sushi came assembled on a boat, and the waitress couldnt identify the pieces for us (she had to get someone else, who then retrieved our order sheet and guessed to the best of her ability). Sadly, their version of anything spicy was a dollop of spicy mayo on top (this was true for the spicy California roll, spicy tuna roll, spicy yellowtail, and a special Maki roll that claimed to be spicy). Our party of 4 had a bill of $140 (we mistakenly ordered a lot). The best part of the meal was the veggie tempura (it was very good and fresh), the free miso soup, and the house hot saki (surprisingly good). If I went back, Id only do the Teppanyaki side of the restaurant. But Id sooner try another place then come here again.

Overall: great atmosphere, great presentation, great service, but the sushi was underwhelming. Expanded: The service was perfectly fine. Soup and salad was provided for both of us, despite a relatively small sushi order, which we appreciated. Pretty standard quality on both; the salad dressing was very good. Our sushi arrived after a few minutes - the first plate had all the flair you would expect for a premium roll. However, that first bite was very telling as to the quality, or maybe the condition, of the fish they used. The taste was unfortunatey too "fishy," reminiscent of salty sea water rather than the delicate salmon flavors we are used to getting out of this price range. Our second plate arrived and was of better overall flavor, including a spicy salmon hand-roll, which was closer to the quality I expect, but still had a slight aftertaste like a day at the beach. Note: I would recommend rethinking some of the specialty rolls (the salmon lovers, especially).

Food was fine, but the service was lacking. Rather slow even though the place wasnt busy and had to repeat my beer order to the waiter three times before he understood me, then proceeded to bring the beer a few minutes later and then card me. No miso soup or salad with the hibachi and the prices are not very competitive. They should rename this place Ninja, because I accidentally forgot my leftovers and came back in three minutes later only to be told that my food had been ninjad right into the trash, and offered only a sheepish "sorry." No reason to go back here, and Im sure I wont.

Our waitress(white lady) went to check on a table for us while a minute later another waiter(white guy) came and immediately took a white family to guess what? the same table which we would later be seated after the family that came in after us, still timing for service pending a update??? Ok so food was ok not the best Steak Ive had but ok, Salmon was very small portion (Steak, Salmon and Scallops) total $51.83

This is real hibachi, unlike those other guys. A mother freakin ninja (who claims his name is Johnny) lights your table on FIRE, builds volcanoes out of onions, and shoots food into your mouth with knife skills straight out of 15th century Japan. My kids LOVE this place.

I come here all the time for a reason. Great sushi buffet which includes some pretty good Chinese options. Hibachi is excellent and exciting. The only thing I dont understand is how they can afford to stay on business with such quality product and affordable prices!

Ive literally been here for two hours sitting at our table and we have not been served. We got sushi for our appetizer and that took an hour and us asking where it was three separate times. Waiting this long is so unacceptable, I will never return.

Sushi so cold that it was hard to beat. Waiter cared more about his phone and chatting with his co-workers than getting us a refill. The rice was just rice, not sushi rice. The sushi in Giant, next door, is better.
